Thank you for making this. The Temu website translates the description of their products and their reviews. This can create misunderstandings. I don't know how to double check products other than googling a bit first. I did see an ad for a fun thing that turned out to be an ugly copy (I didn't buy it). I just researched a little. It is a very mixed bag of shops selling through Temu.

Another very simple solution: STOP BUYING CHINESE MADE GARBAGE.

Personally I cannot trust their ethics..(haha yeh …..China) and I don’t feel like supporting the CCP, ultimately. Temu gains access to everything on your phone.. Yeh, cheap because foreigners are being bought for information…That is sadly why it is so cheap. Got to admire their tenacity though. Owned by PDD Holdings…which means Black Rock and Vanguard…etc. are shareholders…Owned by the second richest man in China…so go figure. It’s like entrapment.

Temu will be cheap until everyone else is out of business.

Temu and Ali Express are the bomb. It takes a lot of weeding through it to make sure you are getting the right stuff. But 9/10 times on there the quality of what I get is better than what I expected. 7/10 times the quality of what i get is exactly the same as the more expensive product. 3/10 times I get something that looked bigger in the picture than it does in real life. and also my favorite pair of pants in the world come from ali, they are comfy like track pants, less fancy than dress pants but more fancy than jeans. my favorite belts too actually. now that I think about it, a lot of my favorite things come from ali and temu.

The great thing about Temu is their return policy.

While I can totally understand that sometimes people can’t afford anything other than fast fashion etc, as someone who is coming from a rather poor background the only thing I gotta say: if you can’t afford it, don’t buy it. We don’t need half of the stuff we own. I can 100% sympathise with the urge of wanting to fit in because i’ve been there but it’s not worth it. You’re wasting your hardly earned little cash you might have on something that isn’t durable and often very poor quality. There’s the option of second hand shops where you can pick up much higher quality for low prices. The bigger problem with these websites and companies is that by buying from them we’re not only contributing to generating more rubbish but we are also fuelling a very exploitive and abusive work environment, the people who are forced to work for these companies are extremely underpaid and work in unimaginably poor conditions. And when it comes to art, you need very little to start with when you are a beginner and there is literally no point buying cheap stuff that is extremely poor quality. Focus on mastering your skills because that will also give you time to save up for your next tool.

I'm on very low income. Temu has been a blessing on a lot of things. I got a lot of items just exactly the same item on Amazon but got it cheaper on temu.

I've gotten a variety of stuff from temu including clothing. I'd say 90% meet my expectations. I have bought a ton from temu.

Wish also sells the touch alcohol markers and when I bought a set from Wish back in 2017 I was surprised and very very pleased! 💜

People don't understand, cheap does not mean worse. Most Top Brands copy each other and sell the name rather than the product. Temu connects Sellers to Buyers, which is why you get the Products Cheap especially when buying in bulk. What I personally Love about Temu is the mass amounts of Discounts we offer to Customers.

I literally got $180 worth of art supplies on Temu for free but I had to invite 14…. Yes….. 14 new and existing customers. It took a whole day but its so worth it! Just be careful on what you spend your money on. I did get the markers but the 230 one.

everything is made in china, temu is just cutting out the middle man and selling directly is why there prices are so cheap. ive brought so much crafting stuff from them and loved all of it so far. i think there getting a lot of hate that's really not justified because there cheap. and im totally buying those markers 😅

You realize that sites like Temu and Shein are connected to slave labor, right? Not all items on their site, but most of the very inexpensive items. How else do you achieve "too good to be true" prices? Not my opinion, there are many articles you can read about how they skirt around US Labor Laws.

when u were reviewing the water colour paper i think the people who gave the rating were non artistic people and this sometimes happens to me too i mean i go too amazon and if its cheap i buy it i honestly do not care if its not pigmented because im not doing any hardcore work
