hello guys. This battery i make 3 years ago and it's still working, for charching i use SKYRC iMAX B6AC V2 charger and i don't need any BMS for this. For battery security I'm not afraid, becouse the board where i use this battery already has security board. If you don't have experiance working with li-ion battery please don't repeat this at home. From the looks of it you are using Sony/Murata VTC5 cells, they have a capacity of 2600mah and a max continuous discharge rate of 20A so really the max current you can continuously draw is about 140A, that is still a lot but nowhere near the 420A. If your cells really could do 420A together then your capacity wouldn’t be 18,200mah, it would be lower. Other than that, great video!

I have and intest in making a battery for a 12v lift. It currently has 2 12v 12amp hour batteries and one that is 12v 7 amp hours
It have a 100amp bracker on it.
I am looking to make a longer lasting version for this

In this configuration we don't have short circuit protection, overcurrent protection, battery low volteage monitoring, temperature monitoring. In this configuration without BMS we can't connect it anywhere (fire risk). Safety first!

You didn't provide balancing resistors or capacitors or isolation diodes or install charging control devices as ALL Li-ION makers REQUIRE when building "packs" from their individual cells. I work at a hobby shop and we sell Li-ion, Li-Po , LiPo4FE and more exotic batteries. Half the cost is the PROTECTIVE DEVICES. Open a name-brand power tool battery pack and LOOK what's in there! Your "pack" is a fire or EXPLOSION waiting to happen. Go ahead, be stupid. Cause a fire in your apartment complex that kills 16 people like in Indiana FROM A "HOMEMADE RC CAR BATTERY"!!!

Why use 2600mAh while 3600mAh 18650 cells are available. This will increase your total capacity from 18200mAh to 25200mAh.

Why bother putting a 60A board on a a battery that's only good for maybe 20-30A? Even if you used copper strips the cells aren't capable of 40A continuous any day of the week, I can guarantee that. If the P42A and Samsung 30T can't do more than 35A continuous then those LittoKala 18650's probably can't do more than 20A. I'd be they are good for 15A.
