Updraft works well for small sites, but for larger sites, its having trouble completing the back...even with an increased timeout by 10 minutes.

I use wp migration plugin to migrate website. Sometime use updraft plus just for backup before do changes in website

I’ve used WPVivid many times and find the free version to provide everything I need. Great plugin!

WP-Staging works great. I schedule them and only tell plugin to only keep latest 2 on the server. Every week or month I copy one backup to a disk drive. It also creates as many staging sites as you want. Every month I refresh the staging site from production as added insurance.
