Kinda wish you would’ve titled this a book club video. It’s pretty misleading.

I love audio books and podcasts. I dont have time to sit down so I love learning and researching while I cook, clean, and drive. Its how I maximize my time. Works for me but I envy people who sit down and actually read a book. ⭐️

Sounds like a good book! I'm going to sit down and listen to it immediately, because I've done all my "to-do" things of today with time to spare, so I can give myself some nice time to do things for me :D

Hey Amy, I don't know if you are going to read this, but, I'm from Brazil and I don't know if its an "American style of working", but I don't know how these tips would work for my reality. Can you make a video of how to work on things you want to, and have discipline when your job consume 10hours a day? Or, how to be productive after a stressful day.

I love his ideas! I read his blog and watched his interviews. So I decided to get the book - and was kind of disappointed. Maybe it's because I'd gotten all of the important ideas already from the blog and didn't find much new information in the book. Maybe it's his writing style. Anyways: I highly recommend you read his blog.

I have struggled with starting to do the things I want to do and get done. You made me realize forming a new good habit is a lot like breaking a bad habit. I wasn't able to quit smoking until I began seeing myself as a nonsmoker! I want to write a book, but I've never thought of myself as a writer. Can't wait to get the book and read it. I love James Clear!

I have a habit that I want to get into when I'm starting my new job in three weeks, so ill get into it quicker, it's a little odd but I just want to prove it to myself: I want to stretch every day until I can do the splits.
On one hand bc when I'm getting my mat out and stretching, I might as well work out and BOOM two birds one stone. And I feel like it will be something where I can really see the progress and it will be SUCH an achievement in the end :D

This was one of my fav videos. This past weekend I told myself, Monday I get to become a fit/gym loving person. I watched this video while on my elliptical this morning (which is Monday) And the fun part, it was one of the first videos that popped up on my feed. Guilty pleasure, watching Amy t.v. while I workout. Perfect start to the day ❤💪. I'll also be off to chapters today to get that book. Thanks Amy

The phrase that hit home in this book was 'The problem is not slipping up; the problem is thinking that if you can't do something perfectly, then you shouldn't do it at all'. There it was, my issue, staring right at my face. Great book, def my favorite non-fiction book of the year, I'm in perfectionism recovery now after reading it, trying to follow the 'two minutes rule' and the 'never miss twice rule'.

This was such a great book! I love his informative and almost scientific approach to these things, makes understanding them on a deeper level much easier. I'd love to hear how you take notes while listening to audio books. This is something I struggle with since I also listened this book mainly while driving, but I always need to stop the audio to process all the thoughts I'm getting from it and sometimes I even record myself to not forget the big aha moments. It's not the most convenient way though and I rarely end up listening to those back.

Amy- this is one of my favorite videos of yours yet. I have read this book and have it in all three forms 🤣 I bought the audiobook first, loved it and wanted to be able to read it, so I got the kindle version, and then the book. This is one of those books you can just keep going back to and reread if you are looking to create or change a habit. Love it!!

I watched this video before but for some reason I came back to it again- probably because today was the day I was in the right place to absorb the message I needed to hear in this video! As an actor, the first thing I do when I book a role is get the script and highlight everything of importance and look for common threads. I’ve implemented this practice in real life with “Find Your Why” (by Simon Sinek) but have never thought to do it with day to day life things that I am struggling with until now! Brilliant! Thank you! ❤️ ❤️❤️
