I can't add a node to the cluster. After running validate cluster found an alarm failure about DNS. Do I need to DNS record?

Sorry i hope this is not a silly question, but can I set up DNS Record before creating the cluster, or does the cluster need to be created first.

Should a failover cluster have a static cluster dns record in dns with a 4 node cluster?
So the cluster ip be to set as static?
