you carefully laid double sided tape aroung toilet and then as you laid vinyl you took it(double sided tape) off, why?

Complete newbie here contemplating having a go at this in the bathroom (my 14 yr old son says no way I can do it😂. My question is , if I am laying the vinl over floor tiles , does my hardboard still need to be 5mm? or could 3mm do. Thanking you in advance. Cost of Living means even a woman in her fifties has to have a go at things😊

Sheet vinyl is vinyl. Linoleum is made from linseed and hemp, and its nothing like vinyl. Itll crack if you dont know whet youre doing.

Wouldn’t it be easier to just install the vinyl without the vanity and toilet? Could you install the vinyl first and then install the vanity and toilet afterwards?

Really great finish, but wouldn't it be easier to lift the toilet pan a few milimetres and slide the vinyl underneath? There's probably a reason why you shouldn't do that. Liked and subscribed.

Would it be ok to slide the vinyl under the toilet by lifting it slightly if possible?

Cracking video lads, I'll be doing my bathroom this weekend. Question though, when it comes to the ply for the sub floor what depth are we talking, does it matter? Is it just purely to make it flat so a 3.8mm would be fine?

I am pulling up vinyl flooring that was put down with glue. If I get the glue off and sand it, do I need to put down a layer of latex primer before doing what you guys did?

Just finished laying down my first vinyl floor, thank you guys. Changed my blade twice, done all the mastic seal and the wife is happy. Again thank you, nice video to follow and easy to understand👍🏻

How often you changing your blades when cutting the vinyl ?

How does this hold up against cleaning solutions? If I need to mop my bathroom floor will it mess with the vinyl?

Hopefully not Being a dumbass.....do you set your blade 30' from the floor or what you're cutting around ? I know from being a window tinter for 30 years im used to cutting different angles, but i also know that the angle makes a big difference 👍

Great video! Thanks. I'm still not confident it will work in my case. I have a gully in the middle of the room with the floor dropping 1cm per meter towards it. Do you think there is enough plasticity in sheet vinyl to cope with a slanting floor?

Wish I'd seen this before I did mine a while ago. It's come out ok a few of the cuts would have been much better if I'd known these tips. Also I didn't use a hook blade and slipped a couple of times. Good video!

Is the spray glue used a type of contact adhesive? I am putting some vinyl down tomorrow and struggling to find anything apart from contact adhesive spray.

I cannot understand what name you are giving the tape. I’ve done a Google search for tape Nothing that sounds like anti- plas like you say.
