ОтветитьYou can do this without needing Apache. Just copy the contents to a directory and use "file:///" in the repo file

ОтветитьHI, i followed all the steps.. when the command yum repolist is executed the status of RHELDVD6 is 0 and when i try to install yum say something its showing the same error..now what i have to do plz reply...thanks

Ответитьwhy dont you create local repo using ftp ....apache is a web server.....its simpler to create yum repo using ftp than apache..

This video shows you how to create your own local YUM repository from the RHEL 6 DVD. This way you can use YUM to install any necessary packages. Feel free to post any questions. All the best !!!!
