No FoV Slider on Console for Warzone Pacific...

Here’s a story:

So I was playing br solos and got a UAV, in my UAV it marked a guy camping in a building so I went there ( the building was right next to me) and walked through the door. I got killed, the guy was on the right side of the door and I didn’t even SEE him coz of how little you can see. I was top 5 and everything, also.. I started playing a few months back and am not that good so this really pissed me off. It’s honestly so unfair, and also crossplay takes FOREVER to matchmake

i happen to have a medium end PC so i'm gonna try playing on pc with low settings. my brother loves warzone but i can't stand it without FOV slider

Thank You again Ace, for bringing this issue to Activision's attention again. Hopefully they respond with action this time, instead of having one of their reps make a vague statement telling us how they hear us, understand our frustrations and plan on eventually, or probably will do something about it at a later undisclosable date maybe? Also, it would be great if Activision doesn't plan on adding a Console FOV slider until MW 22? It would be great if they just came out and said it, and had an dev explain to us why it's not possible/(cost effective)? I'm tired of being told it can't be done by unreputable pseudo experts that it's just not possible, because I don't own a $3000-5000 gaming PC.

I played on xbox since 2007 and then I bought a $4,500 PC and I can never go back to 80 FOV. I do think consoles should be able to have an FOV slider because I want the console players to have a fair fight. I don't think console players should have to spend money on a PC just for a FOV slider that is ridiculous. I got a PC because I wanted to play different games that consoles didn't have not because I wanted to have an unfair advantage over consoles.

People don't understand most peoples console can't handle 120fov they gonna get fov slider them cry about frame drops more than they already are

When I play on console vanguard multiplayer there is a fov slider in graphics I use it and it's so smooth yet none for warzone so maybe season 2 yet comes a fov slider

I play on a ps4 and I personally dont really mind not having one since I dont really change it to a higher fov or to a lower fov setting by much. But it would still be nice to have the option to have/get one if you wanted to change it.

I def agree, I don’t care wether I do good or bad, as long as it’s fair. The pc players that don’t want FOV slider on console they’re the type that think PC is the master race, sure pc is better in some aspects but like no need to put others down man, come on

80 fov is bigger problem in this map , the most of the time all I see is huge rocks , mountains and huge building's walls in my face .
Awareness is in a level that you only have chanses of wining a fight by not moving.
Also console version is broken right now

Xbox cant turn of crossplay… nice thought though.

Bf 2042 has a fov slider and the options for xbox players to turn of crossplay.

Pacific does not even use vanguard's engine

As long as Vanguard comes with the strongest aim assist of all CoD games so far (could you pls make a test on this? :) ), I'm pretty fine with the counter measure to not give them additionally a higher FoV. Though I'm not actively pushing against a FoV slider.
Aside from this, I guess the lack of a FoV slider is simply because of the technical limitations coming with the old-gen consoles. Higher FoV = more objects visible, i.e. higher calculation / draw efforts.

If Activision added FOV sliders on console they'd probably charge $19.99 for a FOV Bundle

THERE'S A FUCKING REASON THEY AREN'T DOING IT. CONSOLE CAN BARELY RUN THE GAME AT 60 FPS ON NEW GEN AS IT STANDS, WITH 120 FOV THE GAME WILL RUN LIKE SHIT ON P25/XBOX THEY ARENT BEING UNREASONABLE OR LAZY. IT'S LITERALLY A MATTER OF NEW GEN CAN'T RUN IT, SO THEY WON'T BOTHER TRYING

I have stopped playing warzone becuase of the FOV slider.
All new games have 120fps, 120fov on console, and those games have much better graphics than warzone.
So the claim of fps drop is just a pure lie.

I'm pretty sure the reason they are not putting a FOV slider into warzone for console is because if u have a old gen console and you go to 120 FOV that can decrease your FPS quite a bit probably around the ranges to 50-40 or lower. But I do think they should add it so console players can customize it to there liking of there game and FPS.

If their was going to be FOV you already know that they would have marketed the crap out of it. Ace has always called out FOV since the game dropped back in 2020

if they want to ramp everything up max everything out let it run at 25 fps
pc players are forever changing there graphics to get stable fps

also not every pc gamer has a pc thats better than how a console performs

Haven’t been able to play a single game since caldera update. Crashes me to Xbox Home Screen every time. Tried 10 “fixes” I have live gold, vanguard and modern warfare. Frustrating.

Well apex has it on older gen aswell 😂 also battlefield 5 Br has it (Firestorm). Console players should just quit playing until they give it, all know pc players would hardly have a lobby withouth the console players. Also as call of duty is a console game it would make sense to remove the option for pc players if not able to give it to all users....

i really like call of duty cs it's more realistic for me than other games cs u play with humans and real guns who have been existed through history, but activision's work on the game reminds me like a bunch of high schoolers that came up with a good idea for a game but they don't really know how to make it :p
