Characters and textures can be a bit low res at times and there is the occasional scenery pop in, but the ray tracing and 60 fps makes up for the short comings. Overall it's still a smooth and immersive experience on the series s.

This game looks horrible(looks wise) on my series s. Everything is pixelated and looks very bad. All other games even older games run on good graphics. Any suggestions please. Help me!

Just bought this for 10 bucks online. The best 10 dollars ive ever spent in my life. Currently, I'm playing this over my girlfriend's house on a portable Series S setup i made using a 17.3 inch 1440p Uperfect Portable Gaming Monitor and a Razer Wolverine Headset, while she's watching some nonsense on TV. I'm absolutely blown away with the graphics, smooth frame rate, loading times, SOUND Effects are top tier. I love the music too. Pretty eerie stuff, but smooth. 5 stars from me. I've been looking for a nice next generation. FPS game since the current generation started. Now, i cant wait to get home and play on Series X.

the controller sensitivity made me give UP to play this game. Its terrible even If you put mouse and keyboard. I put the sensitivity at maximum when i use the controller but still bad.

Is the stuttering while playing patched out now?🤔 Looks pretty terrible if this happens.

Hey series x user here i got the bundle on windows store and got all 3 but had Last Light crash on me several times and recently exodus has a problem with gamma brightness still im using a lg ug 27gp83b monitor and at the 2nd lvl with the train station it blacked out randomly and was glitched i dont know if its the game or why it keeps happening

I plantumed this game on ps4 and just got it for $7 on Xbox series s

Remember that this game is one of the first AAA games ported over. Its raw brute force and upscaling being used here, no velocity arch, no vrs 2.0, no sfs, ect. This is rather impressive really. Don't let DF scare people or create a narrative that its 540p. That was the lowest part in one area, its variable but they simply showed the worst case.

The great thing about Metro Exodus on Series S is it gives us the blueprint for how games will scale over the next generation.
Practically, Series S is 1/4 of Series X, especially where Ray Tracing is involved, but that is already much better than I was expecting given how intensive Ray Tracing effects are. Previously my speculation was that Ray Tracing at 60fps and of this intensity couldn't be done at all on Series S, but now that we know it can be done we can be confident that Series S will have feature parity with Series X across virtually all games for the rest of the generation.

This, rdr2 and The Last of us 2 (ps4 pro) arre the best looking games I´ve played on my 1080p tv and this is even running smoothly 60fps. Incredible for a 289 € console.

I came from PS4 slim, play on 60 frames... It's remarkable to me. In fact, SS version is not the best 'cause the pixel shadows and other graphs stuffs. ¿But for less dollars than X?, dawg' it's insane. I know... I know... lot of muppets says "This console is a dissapointment" but not whole world cares play on 4k or spend money like striptease consumer. If ur thought is play on 60 frames but u dont wanna spend a lot of money, this is you best option.

Too many people crying about resolution, without regarding the fact this consoles primary directive is to allow gamers to play next gen games without suffering any drawbacks like you would on the xbox one and xbox one s, I've had my xbox since launch day she was retired yesterday when my series S arrived and sure 1080 on next gen sounds sucky, but for £250/$300 you have no right to complain enjoy it or get a one x or series X and let the real gamers have fun with this new gadget it's amazing all around

they should add 30 fps with ray tracing.
with 60 fps the resolution can drop to 960x512p according to digital foundry

FSR is only thing that can save series s.. its just too weak gpu wise for next gen games even in 1080p
