This channel is gold. The ideas are more easier to follow as compared to mainstream channels. Also what engine do you use to analyze positions. Like Stockfish 16 breaks apart in certain positions whereas komodo dragon is easily able to navigate.

Well, Kh8 prevents the tempo gaining check by white's bishop at d5. This allows you to advance the pawn without giving the check. So, it serves a purpose.
