Awesome video! I now know my steps for building a desk. Question, can you run 3/4 plywood through a planer to make it 1/2?

This dude drove to the river, brought along 2 boards and sawhorses, just to give us a 3 seconds joke reference shot. That's dedication.

This is one of the best wood working videos I’ve ever seen. The thoroughness you used, and the time to go through and explain the why’s to each step, was amazing. I’ve been a follower on multiple platforms for a while but this video was awesome.

For anyone who goes to the comments before watching the video to see if it’s worth watching. This is the video you want to watch. Well done, thank you for the help and entertainment.

Perfect video... I'm a new and enthusiastic woodworker but I've never milled wood because I haven't yet got a jointer or a thicknesser, but now I know I can do it with a thicknesser and a table-saw, I'm going to try that. Oh how my neighbours are going to love me!

if you could only own one of these machines which would be the best option? is it the jointer or the planer? I assume it would be one of these two rather than the table saw because you could use a circular saw or a jig saw if you didn't have one

Can you save milled pieces for later? or does that risk bowing/shifting due to expansion/shrinkage as they sit?

Thanks for making this. It was very informative to someone who’s never used a jointer and planer. Just general miter and table saw construction.

You make it look sooo easy and being I’m only 4’11 and a half some things are already a challenge but I’m a woman who loves a good challenge so I offen find myself trying to make the same huge projects lol and like I said you make it look a lot easier than it is hahahaha but I look. What foam sanding pads do you use for your orbital sander and where do you get them? I have checked every hardware, auto, and wood shop in my area and nobody sells them in-store.
