Korean restaurants also list the orgins of their ingredients where customers can see.
ОтветитьKOREAN RESTAURANTS LOOK LIKE CHEAP RESTAURANTS!
ОтветитьThat’s how we have in Australia except we don’t have the call bell button and cutlery will only be found in like those boxes
ОтветитьThis is good to know.
Ответитьbitch just described every restaurant in Austin Texas 😂
ОтветитьWow it’s always breathtaking to hear such fascinating exotic practices in the orient! You’re telling me that in Korea somebody pays the bill and then their friends send them money through a bank transfer? But also sometimes people ask the staff to split the bill? That’s very different from how things go down in the civilized world! Here in the US when you go to a restaurant with friends somebody will pay the bill and then everybody venmos them. Although, and heres the kicker, recently it’s become more common to ask the staff to split the bill for you, although this is still quite rare.
The stark differences in culture between the US and this exotic land are so fascinating!
Same for India 🇮🇳❤
ОтветитьIn India if you go to normal restaurant or dhaba then you can pick you own sit, if you go to fancy restaurant or dhaba then they will greet you and show you where you can sit. If you want to order food then you have to call a waiter there is no bell in any restaurant. After you make the order the waiter will come with jug or normal water with glasses or sometimes you have to buy a bottle. If waiter come to your table with the bill then you have to give tips and if you go to the counter then you have to pay for food only. After paying in the counter if you like the waiter then you can pay with some cash in their hand😊
ОтветитьYou breath air in amerivca guess what you do in korea
ОтветитьOrdering food in restaurant in Korea.
Step 1: be Korean 😂😂😂
Basically restaurants in the US hold you hostage at your table until your waiter can manage to drop your bill, then leave while you check it, then come again to take your money, leave and then come again to give you your change or card. It’s highly inefficient and takes forever. Somehow in Korea your waiter appears instantly whenever you need them, then when you finish you get up and pay. Now which is better?
ОтветитьNot All restaurants in America is like that there are so many different restaurants and there’s so many different ways that you behave in a restaurant so you can’t just say in America you only do such and such in a restaurant because it’s not all like that. Some restaurants don’t even have waiters do you order your meal at the counter you pay for your meal either before or after you eat it all depends on the restaurant itself.
ОтветитьIt’s the same for Hong Kong
ОтветитьThis is veryyyy similar in india
ОтветитьI like this.
ОтветитьBest way to not split the bill is one pays for the meal and the other pays for the upcoming snacks
ОтветитьNot me thinking about Bangchan stray kids
ОтветитьWhat do you mean? Everywhere is like that? Dafug?
ОтветитьI gotta make my own cutlery drawer. It so cool.
Ответитьi dont get wtf the point of this video was. u pay for ur meal with MONEY lol
ОтветитьSame here in Kazakhstan!
ОтветитьSo there’s no difference…
ОтветитьWell, that means by the time i get to korea, i won't be eating at a restaurant alone😌
Ответитьdid anyone else hear her say: that bitch korean?
ОтветитьThis is not true of America. You have restaurants where you pay before you sit down and you have restaurants where you pay at the register. Not all restaurants have you pay at the table.
ОтветитьIts also the same in singappre
ОтветитьThis makes no sense lmao
ОтветитьFor me I usually treat the meal and ask my friend to treat me a cup of coffee or pay for next meal to avoid the counting money hassle, an added benefit is you get to ask your friend out a second time.
ОтветитьIn India it
quite same
u have a nice face
ОтветитьIs this in South or North Korea? 😂
ОтветитьStop with the fake alpha crap
ОтветитьThat whole host and specific waiter situation is just a USA thing from everywhere I've been so far. As an Aussie it confused the hell out of me at first
ОтветитьCheers from Australia! The concept of tipping is foreign to me
ОтветитьOh my GAWD! Why THA F@#% don't we all do this!?! This seems so much more chill and efficient and cozy. No country is perfect, but Japan is freaking badass.
ОтветитьI usually prefer to be the one in a group to pay so I can get those sweet yummy credit card points
ОтветитьIdk if context is missing, but the closer you get military bases, the more likely you'll find restaurants that have host staff.
It's not common to tip unless you go to bars or clubs and style of service will shift slightly. If you're in more rural areas the more likely this type of service will be and more common.
Love this.
ОтветитьWe don't pay at the table in America what are you talking about?
ОтветитьThat's awesome 👌
ОтветитьSounds like a host to me except they are not standing at the door. They asked you how many and told you were to sit. 🤷♂️
ОтветитьHere in America the call button wouldn't work. The customers would push it way too often and piss off the staff.
ОтветитьThis is kind of rude, savage and practical at the same time especially for people of few words…
ОтветитьThis is very similar to Turkey expect that the cutlery is either given by the waiters while making the table up or already in the table in bags some plastics and transparent some cardboardish and I never saw call buttons
ОтветитьWish to point out many restaurants in the untied states will have costumers pay at the counter because it helps pervent dine and dashers however there are places that will bring it to the table and everything is handled then.
ОтветитьHow about. Somebody buys at that time and the other person pays next time. Koreans must be weird like Americans paying for food with friends.
ОтветитьLove it when yanks get faux offended over nothing. “How dare you say we pay at our tables” 🤭 what is this comment section? Love seeing that societally we are closer to SK in England than to the US. We just need to match you in the food department, that’s being said from someone who actually enjoys British food, I will not accept blasphemy on roast dinners or fry ups. 🤭🤭
ОтветитьDoes the waiter do the cashier also. And cooking too Lol no wonder why s Korea has high unemployment. Here we out restaurants has about 15-20 warmer
ОтветитьCultural differences sets countries apart. But I like the no tipping part. 😅
ОтветитьWe have restaurants like that too in the US... but usually without the tech and I've never seen utensil drawers/boxes...
Ответить
