some of these were really just stupid and op, but others I honestly miss! sometimes I really want a Retrowatch gamemode, with all hero changes reverted playing 6v6 on assault maps, it would suck but just for the nostalgia I would love it lol. maybe a future anniversary event...

Sometimes people forgot that shield generator and torb's armor pack and Brig's rally used to coexist for a short time and that was the ultimate dark age of Overwatch😂 Everyone's a tank with +75 shield +25 armor + 150 armor

old brig wasnt as annoying as kiriko or newer characters and current brig is just a joke

EVERYTIME i saw someone with both shield and amour in their hp bars, it made me think of twix chocolate bars.
Like the shield is the sticky, annoying and hard-to-get-rid-of caramel part, and armour is the tougher, crunchy sounding part.
OW1 is probably the reason why i dont like twix that much.

Brig was so unstoppable for so long it took them nerfing her into the ground for her to not be op😭

I played this last in season 2 way back when many of these things still existed. Its crazy to think a lot of it is just gone, the main points of making characters unique and powerful nerfed into a more generic shooter.

as an overwatch 2 player, some of these looks like an alpha testing ideas and not things in the actual game, like who in his right mind thought it was a good idea to give sym 6 turrets

I know everyone will disagree but i miss the old dumb overwatch that had insane shit like this, I don't mind the new game it's just that i wish we could still play that mess of a game we all loved

Don't forget Orisa's halt could ALSO go through LOS in certain conditions. On Nepal Pit, on release, Orisa could just pull you in the pit even if you have no LOS of the orb

Should've included an old Symm TP clip. Sneaking into the backline at the end of a lost fight, and teleporting your entire team behind the enemy supports was peak Overwatch.

I'm glad they were able to recapture that magic with the april fools patch. Would've loved to play around with that a LOT longer.
