I noticed alot of content creators cook their briskets the same amount of hours the pounds are. Like if it's 14 pounds they cook it for 14 hours. We don't have to cook it that long to get nice tender brisket? I'm cooking my first brisket Friday. Also is your cook book out yet so I can purchase it?

we used this recipe...with a few slight differences (diff rub, smoker, etc)

amazing recipe and thanks for showing us something we will be doing for years to come! Most tender juicy flavorful brisket I ever ate.

Smoking a brisket tonight in a storm with no electricity in Kentucky. Covered in Red River Ranch original, seasoned salt, course ground pepper, celery salt and garlic salt. Hoping I have enough charcoal. Splittin hickory and sawin it up. Bacon grease when I wrap it up

Haven't smoked a brisket in some years so needed a recap and you delivered. Country folks can definitely survive.
