He’s clearly using his thumb a tiny bit you can see it’s in there a tiny tiny bit 😂 and here clearly has approval they only said it 50x so relax yall doesn’t affect you

Whatever "approval" this guy has is irrelevant because he clearly is not using the hole every time or to any real extent. To really be legit, someone would have to watch EVERY SHOT and verify that his thumb is in the hole and that's just stupid. This "half thumb" thing should just be illegal. Period. Then there's no question.
I'm done watching these until that guy is gone.

Per USBC response to me today -

“For clarification purposes, a bowler would have to be able to insert enough of their finger/thumb into the holes to physically grip the ball for it to be considered a gripping hole being used for gripping purposes. Typically, the digit is inserted at least to the first knuckle, but we have noticed some bowlers insert their fingers/thumbs a little shallower than that. If the bowler can demonstrate they are able to hold the ball by their side and swinging it with that gripping orientation (with the holes on the top portion of the ball), that would be enough evidence to prove they are using the hole for gripping.

This grip would be used throughout the approach to delivery. Removal of the thumb/finger during the approach would make the bowling ball illegal.”

His thumb is clearly hovering over the thumb hole when he's lining up....... during the start of his first couple of steps, his thumb does enter the thumb hole slightly as you can only see his thumb knuckle....still a gray area IMO. But it's usbc approved

Most of you complaining about the guy only using the tip of his thumb sound a little challeneged when most of you only use the tips of your fingers lol. (JEFF)

Jesus christ the thumb debates... Does he put his thumb "In"? Clearly not, and i know he is here and if he says he is then he is full of it... The thumb is going over the hole and using the bevel of the hole to grip the ball... If you think that should be illegal then contact the USBC... The USBC defines this as a gripping hole and it is legal whether you like it or not

How's the fukin left in these western NY centers.

Seems like the dude is just using a balance hole that happens to be close to his thumb position. I’d hope the USBC makes him decide one way or the other.

Every1 complaining aboutnhis thumb but the dude was approved by the usbc to bowl like this....nothing beat the champ can do.....cant disqualify him

It's nice to see a local bowling show. I'm old enough to remember when most every town with a TV station had some kind of bowling show. Mine was Bowling With the Champs, which ran in Milwaukee for decades.

This is a great series of bowling however, I'm getting tired of seeing some of the same guys over and over and over again .
I think they shouldn't be allowed to be on the show no more than twice each season or year.

Storm is not the bowlers company, maybe the pro bowlers company, every 6 months or so storm balls crack and the company won’t give you a replacement ball even if you follow their drill instructions

You guys should branch out of NY, go regional
