Your terminology can be hard to follow. When you say 20A cell what do you mean? Why do you refer to ells as both single cells in the traditional manner and also in groups? It seems this is a very expensive and somewhat unreliable system. I would not even say it's quicker or easier than just spot welding. Not a big fan of dozens of overlapping links either.

When are you going to make a version 5.0 for 21700 batteries????? I can get them in the US for pretty cheap and they offer a lot more power per cell. Can get a 20ah battery with only 40 cells using Samsung 50E's

They need to produce a single piece with 7S, 10S with a more substantial bus bar and Terminal port.

I just want to know something about e Bike, it's about volt tho cause I've been wondering for a moment that, can 60v E bike using 48 volt battery?

One thing after looking at ebike videos for over a year is nothing about a there bms. Some talk of a controller of say 20 amp or a 30 amp and wonder if most ebike bms's are part of that. I've wondered if no bms or junk bms's are the reason for alot of the ebike fires.

Looks like a great way, without spot welding for a battery build and would be easy to change out problem cells because of no welds, but I would think to replace a ebike battery, with limited area, one would need to downsize as they look to take alot more space than a welded battery. I wonder too what type plastic they use. If a very durable type like HDPE (like 5 gal. buckets, milk jugs, laundry soaps, shopping bags), they should take alot, but if of a brirtle plastic, they may not be good for, say a dual battery on a ebike going off-road?

Neat idea, just a shame that Vruzend haven't fulfilled my pledge and do not reply to questions on Kickstarter. Got notification that shipping had completed back in February, it's now getting on for June and I've not seen any sign of my three kits, nor heard anything from Vruzend. I'm not the only one either.

Just more waaay overpriced garbage from india to ruin cells and cause constant headaches. Stick to welding nickel strips as all battery pack manufacturers do and you'll be happy. Don't be a paying guinea pig and don't walk away... RUN !

I have a v3 Vruzend kit and the largest center battery case (Hailong Polly) Unfortunately the battery box manufacturers made narrow case. Max useful width in case is 7cm in the 9.5cm box. The Vruzend height is 9cm, if the batteries ideal direction is laid down. Witch is the good ebike battery case it fits?

Bunch of us bought these on Kickstarter. Months later there is no reply to where they are or the battery holders.

Thanks for the video info. Looks 'easy' enough and I'm sure much less expensive than ordering a new battery pack from the manufacturer. One piece of advice I might suggest. When tightening down the buss bars, follow a 'Z pattern'. Bottom Left-Middle Right-Top Left, then follow with Top Right-Middle Left-Bottom Right. This should ensure 'even' pressure across every contact. Much like changing a car tire, skipping over every other stud, just snugly, then repeat the pattern to tighten up.

I received my 4.0 kit, and built a 12v pack (4s3p) using 18650 LiFePO4 cells. Added a LiFePO4 BMS and it works perfectly!

Wouldn't coating the bus bars with a thin layer of dielectric grease help long-term or is that just over kill?

eventho some people may argue about the amount of safety-first mentions and procedures you are following to build this kit, I really appreciate you take your responsibility on making this educational content as heavy as it should be regarding safe and preventive manipulation of lithium batteries.
we don't know who will be the next enthusiast going from zero to full builds based only on their YT and internet acquired knowledge, and it's important to remark as many times as possible the amount of different ways things could go unexpectedly bad with this.

I'm looking at a DL24P load tester for testing my LiFePO4 18650 pack. Trying to find a good LiFePO4 bms and a charger for low solar days. Any recommendations? Waiting for my Vruzend 4.0 kit to arrive.

I love the idea of these kits but I plan to use ~300 cells and I can't justify an additional $400+. I know these are new and production costs are likely higher for you than for some big company. If they were half the cost I'd be considering it, if they were 1/3rd I'd probably do it - especially given the ability to replace dead cells w/o rebuilding the pack.

Since the kickstarter ended, Is it possible to still buy this kit? If yes, where can I find it?

Could a 52 volt pack and a 24 v pack be connected in series, for 76 volts total, be used with a Bafang BBSHD ?

What do you know about the lithium phosphate battery? What's the difference between lithium and lithium phosphate batteries other than size.. The lithium phosphate batteries I found are a lot larger... It's said that the lithium phosphate battery doesn't overheat as easily and smaller chance of fires...🤯
