Ответитьcompared to travel strollers, like the uppa baby minu v2, how much heavier is this set as a single. petite people friendly, i gotta be able to lift it into trunks when out and about alone. seriously considering a travel size for full time use, just for weight alone. my thought also is the minu has a ride along board if older siblings one day. thoughts?
ОтветитьWorst company for customer service Mockingbird does not answer the phone, and charged me $500 for the car seat adapter and the foling canopy for the stroller and never shipped me the stroller. 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻
ОтветитьSo I just got the mockingbird double stroller. My son is 2.5 and I got a newborn. I noticed my sons head is almost hitting the canopy. But shoulder straps are on the second to last level. Also my son is on the shorter side, bone age of 1.5 years. So my question is, did the height of the seat affect your kids height? Did his head hit the canopy?
ОтветитьThanks for the review. I love the Chicco Cortina and this seems to have all the things I like about it with the double option and the ability to fold tighter. When I finally get pregnant with #2 I'll be buying this one.
ОтветитьI’d definitely buy a double. I thought about it but decided to save money. Here I am now on my second pregnancy with a one year old looking at double strollers even though I have a single
ОтветитьThis is amazing! Loving it.
ОтветитьI used it in a bus for special trips
ОтветитьWe’ve got twins that will have grown out of the double stroller by the time our next baby is here, is the riding board attachment universal for both wheels or only for the left side?
ОтветитьWhy am I seeing the o"ld break design" on the description photos of the MockingBird website in January 2023...hmmmm .. weird. don't like that hahah
ОтветитьI hate my mockingbird. It was the biggest bust purchase. It worked ok with my first born but we bought the second seat kit for my second and it it so hard to push and it can’t go over small sidewalk bumps in chicago. I ordered my second kit when i was 5 months pregnant and I can’t return it because it was delivered more than 30 days ago. I guess I should have waited to order it until 30 days before my due date but I wanted to get it checked off my list. I honestly am so irritated with what a waste it is. I can’t even resell it because of the recall and none of the consignment shops will take it. I am so confused how it go so many positive reviews for people who have two kids.
ОтветитьGreat video! I do have an honest question, though: have you ever found any issues or users regarding the structure when two children are used? I saw that when two children are on the stroller it can fall apart. I pray that would never happen to anyone, but have you or anyone you know had that issue?
ОтветитьThanks for this video
What is your opinion
I have 2 children
2 years and 4 years old
So which one is better
Mockingbird or
Baccani lusso double
Thank you
Where can I find the all black version!? I'm only seeing the sliver frame on the website.
ОтветитьThanks for the review. It gave me to make an informed decision.👍
ОтветитьI had twins so I was always looking into a single to double/ double stroller and I really liked the price point of mockingbird. Now that they are 9 months old im not really liking it that much. I love the storage underneath, very spacious. But if we fill it up it kind of prevents is from freely changing up the position of the seats. So when they are both facing forward I have to put my shorter one on top because if I put my longer one on top she would just kick the top of the other seat lol. I thought I wouldn’t want a side by side double stroller but that is what im leaning towards now. Because with the mockingbird I have to move to side to see the baby on the bottom. Or sometimes one would get fussy and not want to be on the bottom because they can’t see us.
ОтветитьMy kids are barely 18 months apart. SO glad I have the single to double stroller!
ОтветитьHi! I’m looking for a double stroller and I’ve been looking at the the Silver Cross Wave. I know that Silver Cross is not compatible with Graco car seats but am wondering if you know whether or not it’s compatible with the Stokke by Nuna car seat? I have both car seats so this is a huge weighing factor on whether I go with the Silver Cross or the Mockingbird.
ОтветитьHave you ever thought of doing a comparison of a single to double stroller vs. a wagon for first time parents?
ОтветитьThank you for this video! We have the mockingbird double and just ordered the riding board. I’m my opinion, it’s best to have both the second seat and the riding board, especially on longer outings when the second little gets tired. 💚
ОтветитьAnybody else having problem with the 5 point harness? I can't lock it because the part that goes between legs is too short...
ОтветитьWife and I having our first soon just placed our order for one, can’t wait to try it out.
ОтветитьReview the silver cross wave 2022
ОтветитьHave you done a review on the Contours Legacy convertible stroller? I would love to know the comparisons between Contours, Mockingbird, and Uppababy.
ОтветитьWhy is the frame black on the Mockingbird used in the video? Online it looks like they only sell silver frame strollers. Is the black special edition?
ОтветитьDebating if I should get the Mockingbird or Uppa Vista. Which one do you prefer?
ОтветитьMockingbirds the best. Easily
ОтветитьThe kickboard has been a GAME CHANGER for us on our stroller
ОтветитьI definitely found the single to double a better value, knowing I wanted to have at least 2 kids going into it. Also, having owned the single model first (double wasn’t released yet) there were several upgrades I enjoyed, like the suspension and more compact seats. I’m excited to get the ride on board, as my son is getting to the point of not wanting to sit in his seat! And it helps when you’re out with friends. I’ve used my double before my daughter arrived, just going on walks with friends who have kids too. (It Helped having them push, while I waddled along 😅) plus I really enjoy the seat conversion options, as opposed to the uppa baby & what I saw with family using it.
ОтветитьOurs has been a phenomenal investment. Our oldest daughter at 3 is special needs and can’t walk yet. But our newest little is 8 months and almost almost walking, but we needed something to push both in. Our oldest is also very small and slow to grow so we will get a lot of use out of this. Very happy
ОтветитьWhich is the lightest or easiest to carry once folded? This is important to me!
ОтветитьWould love to see a silver cross wave review!
ОтветитьNew subscriber and soon to be first time dad! I stumbled across your videos when I started doing some research on “new dads” this week and love the videos and content. I know in another video you mention something about bonding/carriers, do you have a more in-depth video on that specifically or have one you recommend? Thanks!
ОтветитьThank you for this video. I shared it with a few friends. They were so excited.! This content desperately needs Promo-SM!!
ОтветитьCan you review the baby jogger city select?
ОтветитьDo you know anyone that's reviews carseats like you review strollers?
ОтветитьI'm not yet a parent, but do alot of baby sitting. I spent around $800 on mocking bird with all accessories and such thinking this was the one. Nope, I was wrong first 2 days handle bar broke going over the curb, (with only 1 child that is about 6 months old) so he isn't that heavy yet. Contacted mocking bird they told me to buy a replacement frame for $300. I said no, I just spent over $800 for everything. They where hard to deal with. They did offer me a $400 refund, and told me to give back the broken stroller, but they never responded back, it's been over a year. I just sold it part by part. Smh. Oh well. We ended up getting the Vista V2, & City Select 2, also a bob flex 3.0 for jogging or more of trail. Bur in my experience, mocking bird was a no for me, I took a hard loss. I was still financing it along the way. But, I just don't get how other families didn't have my experience. I feel like the only one here.
ОтветитьWe’ve been pretty happy with our mockingbird. At the time we bought it, it really gave us a much more premium feel and the style we preferred (very clear uppababy design cues) at a price point we could afford.
That being said, I completely agree that if you’re willing to spend a premium, and have the ability, then you will definitely feel the difference. The mocking bird is clearly a more budget made stroller in its feel then those higher end counterparts. That being said, it still punches above its weight class for sure. And customer service is great!
I got the mockingbird single to double and am really happy with it. Expecting baby #2 in July, so the littles will be 21 months apart. While I know there are some added benefits to UPPAbaby and Nuna, they didn't matter much for my suburban neighborhood walks and parks. Really happy with what I have and find the rain cover (or bubble as we call it) an awesome add on.
ОтветитьCongrats on bebe number 3!
ОтветитьWe’ve had ours for 2.5 years and man am I glad our daughter grew out of it. Getting that bulky sucker in and out of the trunk is taxing!
Ответить1st time mom regret was not registering for a double stroller. Now I'm on baby #4 in 5 years and looking at getting a mockingbird! So first time moms: register for a double when everyone is excited to buy you things 😄
ОтветитьWhat stroller would you recommend if I wanted (1) to have a double expansion option, (2) would primarily use it on an asphalt road and a grass/dirt path around a neighborhood pond? Would Mockingbird hold up long term under those conditions? (Was concerned when it sounded like you only recommended it for smooth surface travel?)
ОтветитьMy wife and I's predicament is twins... So we automatically require a double stroller and don't immediately have the option to have one of our littles ride along in a different way. We are going with the BabyJogger City Select 2 which does seem to have a good system to add the second seat and retain a slightly smaller profile. We went this route because we just couldn't get to the point where we felt we really wanted a double wide stroller and it's hard to find a true double stroller that stays compact. I guess it's the age old answer of "it depends on your situation".
ОтветитьIf I could go back and get a double to begin with I would or at least one that could convert i had all my kids back to back I have 4 kids 4 and under and I’m currently pregnant with my 5th.
ОтветитьMockingbird is the best choice we made as new parents. I dooooo kind of wish I had the new version for the shade, but our princess is getting old enough to happily rock some sunglasses, so we will make it.
ОтветитьHi! I’ve been struggling to find a website that sells the Mockingbird and ships to Canada. If someone can help me, it would be great!
ОтветитьCan you please please do a video on baby carriers? Maybe include some good budget options? Would really appreciate it
ОтветитьI went back and forth between uppababy and Nuna. I thought I’d get a vista or Demi grow but decided on a single and got the mixx, which I didn’t like and ended up selling and getting a Cruz which I love! I am super happy we went with a single. With all the latest and new stuff that comes out it’s nice to get the added features. Also I feel like it gets so banged around and used so much that when a newborn comes id like something cleaner and newer. Also if my daughter ends up not really wanting to use the stroller since she’s already almost 2.5, then I’d just keep the Cruz still for the newborn and add the piggyback. Thinking so far in advance sometimes doesn’t actually end up saving money in my opinion because things break and there is always normal wear and tear. Also, double strollers are so much heavier! You’re carrying that extra weight for like 1-2 years before the next one… and we’ve already even switched more to a minu. First time mom- yes I wanted the full size—- but practicality I love the lightweight strollers
ОтветитьCongrats on #3 on the way, Andrew!
