I think the EQC isn’t the first electric Merc, i beleve there is a B-electric drive right?

For me this is one compromised vehicle. As a SUV it's great idea, because SUVs are the hype now. As SUVs are used more in the city they can fully use the electric ones. If it was an S-class or E-class - range problems. But some things I do not understand. Making a SUV should be somehow more useful. A tunnel in the rear seats, why? I have seen the underpinnings and there are cooling pipes for the batteries and some hump that sticks out from the battery but that is... They say that they are using the platform only for EV's but that hump is strange. Also the grill outside.They are not the first ones that are using battery cooling technology and the competitors do not have grills. Is it the design or the EV platform is somehow not just for EV's. Les hope they sell.

AMG line up is of course better. O mercedes pls add an (actually 2 of course) electric motor to G63. Hope that car does not die.

What the hell are MB doing?, is this the best they can do for their first EV? they are launching EV technology of 2012 in 2019!!!, I expect more from them. At least, Audi has done it better with the e-tron, a much more decent product from a premium brand.

OMG!!! so UGLY. it looks like a monster and that interior?!?!?!  OMG. it looks so dated with those AC vents... they look like some copper industrial or more like some weird animal nostrils..... also in US it will get approx. 200 miles on a 100% charge. let's say you want to drive 500 miles. If you don't want to wait over 40 minutes to stay in the 30 minutes interval for 80% (160 miles) you need to charge this car every 1.5-2 hours. 80% is 160 but you won't arrive at 0% on a charger. You need at least 10% which is 20 miles. So you will only drive 140 miles before you need to charge for another 30 minutes..... ouch!

You can always tell when a car company wants you to continue to buy their gas powered cars by how they put the cheapest looking and unattractive body's for the cars they REALLY don't want the majority of their sale to be made through.Fucking corrupt POS! The tech is here! Make the change, or at least don't insult the public buy giving us this shit! Or showing us an amazing electric car only to say it's just a concept and will never be made..FUCKIN losers!! I get it, the monster of oil is still looming but people are not stupid and they know car manufacturers don't care about the planet or the health of our cities and much as they care about MONEY!! First time watching this guy and I was convinced he works for Mercedes with the way he was explaining everything...You gata love the Germans!!

Good review on an ugly car design. Unfortunately for Mercedes. It seems that most electric cars come with very ugly exterior and interior design. This does not look like Mercedes. It’s a multicontinental ugly hybrid.

Basically the EQC It doesn't do what a Tesla can do! And not talking about, speed and range!
Autopilot? Handle traffic? Connect to the navigation guidance? Battery management system?
Also, too heavy at 2.4 tons, for example with four people on board and with luggage the EQC weight will be close to 3 tons! wow... that's heavy!
Remember, Tesla is 15 year old company, MB is an 130 year old company!

It's fugly. Profile is decent but the details.. There are none. The rear is a Porsche rip off, the rest is a generic soap shaped car. The AMG one must have some of the ugliest wheels ever made. My god what happened to Mercedes? Except for the GLA and GLS, the W202 C class was the last good looking car they made.

This is ridiculous and the result if petrolheads make an EV: It's a GLC with an electric motor cramped into it. When does Mercedes wake up and produces a real dedicated electric car. Outright stupid to have no legroom in the back and a small trunk to make place for non-existent combustion engine parts.

Very ugly, mercedes fucked up their electric lines. Porsche 1, audi 2 mercedes 3
