Going to be played at a funeral I am attending as Jack was born in Scotland. Don't think there will be many dry eyes 😥

ОтветитьThis will be piped at my husband's funeral on 24th July 2023. I am listening to it now. It is the very tune he sang to our three beloved children when they were babies to get them to sleep. There is a symmetry in my soul when I listen to this. Thank you.
ОтветитьThanks you from a Swedens island Gotland
ОтветитьI'm an Aussie my Grandma was Scottish, I was only 6 when she passed away, I remember her strong wee accent I wished I could have known her longer! I found a letter she wrote to my father, she mentioned that I didn't like her, how sad I am to read that! I'm not sure why? Everytime I hear Bagpipes I think of her and I'm proud of my Scottish background! Hope we meet again!
Ответить❤❤❤

ОтветитьI've only started listening to bagpipe music a few days ago, and not only is it one of my favorite instruments to listen to. This is the only song I've ever listened to that moved me to tears. And I couldn't tell you why, because I know nothing about this song other than it's played on the bagpipes.
ОтветитьBeautiful ❤
ОтветитьPlayed at my mother's funeral. Always reminded her of going up to Tighnabruaich on the ferry on a Sunday day out.
ОтветитьI love this Song on the Bagpipes truly Beautiful ❤
ОтветитьLove this , my wee friend James Henderson played this to my late father and brothers funeral, great piper , my hairs in my neck stand up every time when I hear this
ОтветитьAbsolutely fantastic piping Alba gu bràth. 🏴
ОтветитьFirst time I heard this it was in a 3rd season episode of Stargate Atlantis. It was performed the traditional way in honour of the series’ main (Scottish) character of Dr. Carson Beckett who was tragically killed in this episode. (The character himself was portrayed by Scottish-Canadian actor Paul McGillion). Very powerful scene mostly because of the this very powerful and moving piece. It took me a while to find out the title of the piece and I am glad the search brought me here, listening to it once more., even if, once again, it made a grown man cry.
Ответитьbeautiful, thank you.
ОтветитьAbsolutely beautiful, a master .
ОтветитьAs soon as hit play,my soul left my body, and I cried. And that's all I have to say about that. Thank you .
