VICE Talks 'Sicario' with Benicio Del Toro

This dude deserves an Oscar for Sicario. He was so good in it.

He seems like a happy dude. In the movies he turns into a possessed man. Like serious method actors like DeNiro, etc

No mention of Taylor Sheridan who actually wrote the incredible script, featuring these incredibly deep multi-dimensional characters, consciously decided to shift POV in the 3rd act, etc... Denis Villeneuve didn't do that.

There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. A high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.

Both he & Josh were amazing. Check him out in Star Wars viii Last Jedi. Josh is great, if you want a laugh in Hail Caesar! Or see Dune 1 & 2. Both underrated actors but memorable roles. If you have ever enjoyed Harrison Ford or Tommy Lee Jones movies, there's a similarity.

Benecio was amazing in this. But, if I'm being real and honest, Blunt out acted him in the film.

I feel like Benicio is being kind in this clip because Sicario could have been so much better , I 100% agree with him saying the Pov's didn't match and unfortunately that's why this film struggled , It's 3 different Narratives in one movie which confuses the Audience. If they fleshed out Emma Blunt and Benicios's characters I think this Movie would have done a lot better. The Sequel was much better.
