When Calculating Multiple Float Paths, What's the Difference Between Total and Free Float?

Hi, imagine I am updating a project with recourses loaded. Imagine the activity I updating is for progress, has 4 days (Original duration). Now my activity delayed by 6 days(Actual duration 6 days).
my question is when I look activity details actual duration did change but actual cost remain the same as budget cost. why?

based on actual duration actual cost must have updated but it didn't and i have to manually calculate and manually
input.
