I'm mexican living in the states for nearly forty years, I can't wait to go back to live in few years, the city's of Amsterdam, Belgium, Paris, Frankfurt, New York, California, and many other cities etc. There's not city
in the world like Mexico city! Is everything.
What I like about you guys is the way you two have fun, the way you describe but overall is that you don't used profanity like many others young guys, they think is funny but is not. Gracias for that.
ОтветитьThanks for good information
ОтветитьI know this is an old video, but I just discovered y'all. I lived in CDMX with my grandparents when I was a teenager, and this video made me miss it so much and brought tears to my eyes! So many amazing memories with my family, visiting el Zocalo...thanks for showing the world the beauty of Mexico. I miss it so much!
ОтветитьMexico City is amazing, we've been 8 times and have our next trip back already planned! Still so much to see, we Love Roma Norte and Condessa although it is nice to stay on the Zocalo too, there is just not much to do in that area at night. Te Azul Historico (specifically this location) is our favorite restaurant in all of Mexico, don't miss the cute mezcal bar a floor up that has balcony tables for 2 overlooking the street below! U
ltimately the elevation and bad pollution keeps me from staying too long, as my asthma acts up whenever I am there. And the last time we were there a 7.2 earthquake hit at 1:15 in the morning and we were 40 floors up at the Hyatt in Polanco, I actually thought we were going to bite it! Won't stop me from visiting as much as I can, but floors 1-5, thanks!
lol
Taxis are known to try to rip people off, so know your prices in advance! We were once shown a "laminated" rate card that had rates about 5 times the actual amount, a 40 peso ride he was charging 200. We got out, ordered an Uber that was only 30 (plus tip of course). Even been charged the wrong prices at restaurants on handwritten tickets, doubleing the price of a beer etc. Gotta watch for it. And if you are handing Cash over at a store till - Count it out to the teller. Anothe scam is for them to 'drop' a 200 or 500 pesos bill, and claim you didn't give enough money, it's happenidn even in places like Wallmarts asnd Costcos now, crazy. Be aware!
But that won't stop us from spending as much time we can there, it's Ah-mazing. Great videos guys, we've been to many of the same cities and countries you have and I think you do a Very good job showcasing each, keeping the videos easy to follow and upbeat!
Wonderful video! I'm thinking of visiting again sometime! Your video is well done and it's a pleasure watching you two! Mexico is so wonderful!
ОтветитьThank you for upload this video from this magical city, viva Mexico!!
ОтветитьAny suggestions on a hotel you stayed at??
Ответить👍👍 No, there is always just one side of the story, the usa story! Where México is something like a desert, people riding burros with sombreros and drinking tequila, between cactus all the time, with sepia towns full of dust and drunks, with nothing to do but eat burritos and nachos, or hard shell tacos,(something that is not even mexican) and many other stereotypes created by people and usa media with the only purpose of bring down the Estados Unidos of México, you need to visit and live México before you judge.
Culture is everything on this country, real culture, no BS. Like other countries who stole territories and claim culture.!
Thank you so much for sharing your expereiences at "La Capital de Mexico". Thumbs up !!! I have been to Mexico a few times, first in 1996, but especially after 3 months learning Spanish in Antigua, Guatemala in 2003-2004 i visited Mexico City again and i like it very much. It is one of my favourite Mega Cities in the world
ОтветитьYou miss the little china town that is just around the sears building they have great food and fried duck
ОтветитьYour videos are the most informative and detailed of all , thanks Guys.
ОтветитьSo funny, interesting & COOL video! :)
ОтветитьPlease how can i get there 😢, my dream land
ОтветитьYou make everything so much fun🎉
ОтветитьIts dificult but I am fight to understand kkk
ОтветитьHello everbady. I gave my like .good thanks
ОтветитьMe being mexican having grown there for about half my life but still clueless watching this 😂
ОтветитьHi I love your videos! I lived in Mexico City for 3 months while I attended UNAM. I noticed while there that no one wears shorts in the City. My roommate was from Taos NM and a confidant native Spanish speaker, and refused to follow the local custom. We did get a lot of puzzled looks. I was wondering what your experience has been in that regard. It instantly singles you out as a tourist. From what happened to my female fellow foreign students, a woman walking alone dressed immodestly would encounter constant cat calls and harrasment. I would not recommend wearing shorts. Maybe you have discussed this, but Ive only seen half of your videos.
Ответитьbueno, me estafaron, pero todo gracias a👉 @DODERTIC 👈que me ayudó😊
ОтветитьDid you pay for items and services mostly in cash or did you use a card? I’ve read on some websites that you should carry some pesos with you.
ОтветитьAre masks still required in certain areas there?
ОтветитьDid you feel safe in the subways? And what did you think of them? Is it better than the transit system in NYC? NYC’s transit system is the best I’ve ever been on.
ОтветитьIt is amazing to see how foreigners love our country, and I am super grateful of living in the most “chingon” country in the world.
You need to visit Puebla though, 4th largest city in Mexico and arguably the best food out there.
Viva Mexico Cabrones! 🇲🇽🇲🇽
I am 66 and a former karate instructor. I was there with my family in 1993. 3 thugs decided we were easy pickins, My oldest daughter t17 preceded to mop the floor with3 attackers. The local police laughed and told our would-be assailants that they got their head handed to them by a 17-year 0ld girl . I chc ked at the hospital and we left 5 assailants with several;broken bones and many other seriouz injuries/ The police laughed at our assailants.
ОтветитьWe love Mexico city hopefully going back soon
ОтветитьGoing to Mexico City in January 2023! Thanks for the tips.
ОтветитьHello!!!!, there we just came across your channel and watched your video!!! You guys make such great videos!!! Just one question If it's not too much to ask where did you guys stay? We are a family of 4 and just wasn't sure if there was a place you recommend 😉 thank you!!!
ОтветитьLes vieron la cara, como una concha 30 pesos en promedio cuestan 8 o 10 pesos
Ответитьawesome video.
ОтветитьHi there! Thank you very much for this awesome orientation to Mexico City! We will get there this Thursday for a week of fun. Your video helped drop a few Google map recommendations!
Safe travels!
Thank you
ОтветитьAre you comedians? you are far from being one.
ОтветитьWe are seeing more of your faces than the beauty of this country. Don’t show your face that mucho. You can talk while showing the scenery.
ОтветитьGreat video 🤠
ОтветитьThat’s a rip off for that concha! They’re less than a buck in America! 😂 looks delicious though!!
ОтветитьCDMX similar to BKK , Thailand In size and number of population
ОтветитьThere is a place in México city that you tubers don't visit often, the place is call "El nido de Quetzacoatl ( Quetzacoatl's nest), is a park very futurist artsy Park theme. You guys should do some reaserch and make some content there. Is a nice unique park
ОтветитьMay I share an Old Testament Verse with you from Daniel 7:14 "And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a Kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should SERVE Him; his dominion is an Everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, & his kingdom shall not pass away, and His Kingdom that which shall not be destroyed."
God the Father loves you so much that He sent Holy Sinless Jesus (His Holy Son) to earth to be born of a virgin. Then, to grow up and die on a cross for our sins. He was in the tomb for 3 days, then Father God raised Holy and Sinless Jesus Christ (Y'shua) to Life! He appeared to people and went back to Heaven. We must receive Sinless Jesus sincerely to be God's child(John 1:12).After we get saved by grace through faith in Christ, if we truly love the Lord Jesus Christ, then we will obey Jesus(John 14:15). Mark 1:15 "And saying, the time is fulfilled, & the kingdom of God is at hand: Repent ye, and believe the gospel." Jesus said in John 14:15 "If you love Me, keep My commandments. "There's a real hell. It says in Revelation 21:8 "But for the cowardly, & unbelieving, and abominable, and murderers, & immoral persons sorcerers & idolaters & all liars, their part will be in the lake that burns with fire & brimstone..." Please sincerely receive Holy Jesus & put your true faith and trust in Him today and please repent. Will you have a Real encounter with Holy Lord Jesus (Y'shua is His Hebrew Name) and stay in a Genuine relationship with Him daily please?😁😀😊
Thank you guys. Great video!
I will be visiting CDMX next week.
Hey guys, I must have missed this video. Excellent. You must really love this country. Do you have any plans in staying on?
Ответить
Saludos amigos
wow... nice video brother... next year for sure :)
ОтветитьAwww I absolutely love you guys! What a wonderful video, I'll be sharing it with all my friends and family. I"m a Mexican living in California and for the longest time, I was not able to visit my beautiful country and explore some of these amazing places. THANK YOU, THANK YOU for these amazing videos.
ОтветитьYes! On our second trip to Mexico City, on your "advice" we ate at "Elhuequito"! Thank you for the recommendation. It was authentic and delicious. I can also recommend "La Case de Tono" at Londres 144, Juarez, Cuauhtémoc (La Condesa neighborhood). It too had authentic Mexican cuisine where the local eat! Sometimes there is a few minutes wait time, but well worth it. Nothing fancy ... just good food.
ОтветитьYou guys are too funny love the dad jokes
ОтветитьI’ve never been to Mexico City and The island of the Dolls
Ответитьwow I love the way you edit your trips around! Very neat, cultural and fun videos Gracias amigos greetings from Coyoacan CDMX
ОтветитьYou can go to the revolving restaurant that is in the Latin American tower.
