Don't worry, the robot double has been fully decommissioned. It is absolutely not writing this comment instead of actual Tom.
ОтветитьOnly problem is real Tom moves and gestures around so much.
ОтветитьI think I speak for all of us when I say: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!
ОтветитьShoutout to anyone who did see movie T.I.M.
ОтветитьI mean its no a100e or a1000 figure from Walt Disney Imagineering but it is cool
ОтветитьI just fell into the uncanny valley.
It's Tom on heroin having a stroke.
Tom Scott please do a video about a company whose robots don't look anything like life forms. Why should we assume that the best possible creature with two arms and two legs will be the best possible creature for some job? Given the role that chance plays in evolution, couldn't there be SOME likelihood that that, say, the best surgeon wouldn't be one that stands on two legs but would be one that is bolted to the ceiling and has 10 hands? I think we limit ourselves when we try to take Nature's designs and improve upon them. What if humans COULD have evolved to have eight limbs instead of retaining the four that the quadruped lineage limits us to?
ОтветитьTerminater movie i remember
ОтветитьDid it have a stroke half way through?
ОтветитьOne thing that is kinda an issue that I don’t see other people here mentioning, is that it doesn’t look wet enough to be a human. The corners of the eyes in particular look artificial.
ОтветитьLoved the shut-down.
ОтветитьLip-syncing issues should not be in real life, but they are.
Ответитьjonny razer arg prequel
Ответитьamazing but still .... the same dead giveaway mini movements, mostly the jaw, that ye old Sarcos/ Disney animatronics had when they started doing the presidents. Still, amazing
Ответитьthe robots are SO creepy
ОтветитьI'm most curious about Amica's facial expressions. She's got a lot of range but there's still something missing. Google says there are 43 muscles in a human face. Wonder how many of them they are mimicking and which ones are still missing
ОтветитьI remember a sign that i saw yesterday: “Do NOT fist android girls”
ОтветитьWhat was that ending help
Ответитьthis what game theory thinks every fnaf character is
ОтветитьIt looks drunk
ОтветитьThe tom scott gets a bit querky at night.
ОтветитьImagine being there at night
ОтветитьBro This is the start of Detroit Become Human
ОтветитьIt seems kind of like a Sims character...
ОтветитьSynth
Ответитьlooks are not important
thats not the point
It's a hyper realistic latex puppet, reminiscent of wax museums I visited as a child 40 years ago, being animated in a few limited motions by motors. Literally no further beyond technology from the 1970s. People see what they want to see, something else that hasn't changed in so many decades either. At least then we didn't havre to wade through clickbait.
ОтветитьLove the robot. HATE!!! it is combined with advertisement. This "in video" advertising must stop.
ОтветитьI think 99% of everyone else who saw a robotoic doppelganger of themselves would immediately scream their lungs out & bash it with a sledgehammer. I know I would.
Ответитьlooks kinda like someone who had a face transplant. like the skin is completely connected to the muscles/bone
ОтветитьEWW the way it woke up at the very end ☄️
ОтветитьI can see that it's a robot. How do I know that? It's the eyes, they don't lie. Well, actually it's because the eyelids are not flush with the underlying eyeballs. I presume this is because the eyeballs are made of marble and thus not lubricated that the eyelids can't make contact with them. This leaves a noticeable gap between the eyelids and the eyeballs, a sure sign of robotic origin.
ОтветитьThis seems highly unethical
Ответитьit looks like its mid stroke.
ОтветитьHow old r u
ОтветитьThey make for Disneyland?
ОтветитьOkay I know if robot dominate the earth all robots be too realistic like t-1000 t-800
ОтветитьRoboTom
ОтветитьWhy are people who make robots so obsessed with making them human when they could make them look like R2D2
ОтветитьYou just got copy pasted, moving on..
ОтветитьCreepy.
ОтветитьThe pokes were for you're safety lemmings You are loved and needed 3@$_
ОтветитьReminds me of g mod characters and movement psychics
Ответитьnope
ОтветитьIs it really necessary to make a robot that has facial expressions when it's just a mechanical marvel made to do a job.....only Humans have facial expressions because they're full of nerve endings that make the flesh move involuntarily......Humans also wave their arms and hands around when they talk because that is an extension to their communicating ability.........making robots too human like is a waste of time as they do not have emotional aspects to reinforce what they are saying.
ОтветитьThe robot really wasn’t that convincing, but the sketch was phenomenal :)
ОтветитьHilarious!
