Then better calculate gold rate in last 10 year and same time calculate FD rate...
During this calculation don't forget to include GST and Making Charges for Gold and also includes depreciation charges when you are selling gold to get actual appreciation....
Since 1.5 years gold is running very fast due to US & China trade issue and recent Corona Crisis.....
It is something similar to GILT funds, gilt funds perfom good FD rates are low....
So don't compare incorrect financial products.....

The only advantage fd has over gold is that u can convert it into cash instantly in need of emergencies in case of gold u have to c markets condition.
