Try 23 😂
ОтветитьIn my life, I've seen about 2 hours of Jerry Seinfeld material, and it never made me laugh - not once. Now, the chance of me seeing the only two hours' worth of unfunny material Seinfeld ever produced is so vanishingly small as to be not worthy of consideration. Conclusion? Seinfeld made some people laugh, like any other comedian.
ОтветитьActors are rarely funny. Humor is organic even when written.
ОтветитьInteresting !!!
ОтветитьI don't see it making sense!
ОтветитьFunny story. My cat found this video very interesting
Ответитьawesome information, thank you!
Ответитьi did not understand anything this man said
ОтветитьI just started writing a short comic series and I wanted to know how to professionally write comedy dialogue and get the admiration of all age groups, and what are the writing rituals? Is it schizophrenia? Or is the writer drunk? Or what?...Oh, please don't laugh at my questions because I'm upset
ОтветитьI disliked this video.
ОтветитьI heard this and immediately Farted!
ОтветитьBeautiful. Really beauiful words.
ОтветитьInteresting interview. A well spoken man with a unique perspective. Thanks
ОтветитьThank you. I needed to hear this
ОтветитьI was sitting home weeping softly writing haiku ... then I farted and laughed my ass off.
ОтветитьI always put a lot of farts in my scripts.
ОтветитьWhoaaaa!! This video is a gem!!! 🤩🤩
I love how he articulated every thought of his so beautifully!

ОтветитьI'll make sure my character is hamlet that is an egg and ham omelet that farts.
Ответитьugh it's one of those
ОтветитьThere is no formula for writing comedy. Those who think so are incompetent. Television is cluttered with awful, formula sitcoms, as is the movie business.
ОтветитьI remember when Carrie Bradshaw farted , and the Big didn't call her afterwards.
Ответитьmy god 4 mins to ask first qu
Ответить1. Observe around you
2.truth about yourself and people
U CANNOT TEACH COMEDY
ОтветитьThis is on Jonahs playlist
ОтветитьI completely disagree with “Comedy is the art of hope.” Comedy is the art of truth and truth Isn’t always hopeful. But hey, wtf do I know
ОтветитьThank you. Very helpful. I have a play series I'm writing called " pig in a Web" poetry was my entry to playful writing
ОтветитьComedy tell who we are, our truth, our vulnerabilities, never giving up hope; Drama tell who we want to be, our dream;
ОтветитьCNN is real News... Now thats funny.
ОтветитьI'm about to start writing my own show w/ a good friend of mine. This is good information.
ОтветитьGood explanation of comic relief👍
ОтветитьI’m trying to write a comedic comic but had no idea how to go about it. I might be able to apply some of this information to that!
ОтветитьNew subscriber here amazing video 😎
ОтветитьSo is comedy separated from irony? I mean, if you say it's the art of hope, does he mean that laughter is the hope or that the story is?
Ответитьlol So.......a guy that has ZERO comedy writing credits, let alone zero writing credits (has he actually even written ANYTHING?), and just runs business comedy workshops; trying to tell others how to write.
This is probably Steve's greatest joke. "I've never done it, or had any success doing it, but listen to be. I'm the expert."
For once, I have no criticism of a statement someone made. Shocking...
Ответитьdoes anyone else feel the need to google the rules for writing haiku? i remember we learned them in grade school.
Ответить"Comedy helps us live with who we are." Precisely.
ОтветитьI somehow doubt he writes oneliners...
ОтветитьAmerican sitcoms just aren't funny. The UK has started to adopt the same style of comedy, I'm sick of it!! Do the writers have to wear hard hats and steel toe capped boots while they're experimenting because most of the comedy on TV is trash...?
ОтветитьElizabeth the first just called-wants her chair back
ОтветитьI'm gonna fart the next time I watch Hamlet.
Ответить"Comedy is the art of hope" - pretty epic quote
ОтветитьVery helpful. Thank you very much for this, and thanks to Steve Kaplan, whose ideas are very wise - "Comedy is the Art of Hope".
