You made a mistake on the first call. That's why ones being wild is stupid as shit.
ОтветитьDavid is HILARIOUS
ОтветитьOnly version I like to play is
You have 3 options on your turn..
1: Call Spot On (there’s exactly that many dice on table)
2: Call Bluff (there’s less then what bid is)
3:Place A New Bid( all bids must go up, either the face on dice or the amount of dice ex..)
Key word “at least”
1st bid - there’s at least one 6face die on the table.
2nd bid - there’s at least four 3face dice on the table
3rd bid - there’s at least seven 3face dice on the table
4th bid - there’s at least eight 1face dice on the table
5th bid - there’s at least eight 6face dice on the table
Growing up in my neighborhood in the 60s 70s men in the bar usually 2 guys head to head they played the same rules, nothing wild ,but they used dollar bill instead of dices, they used the serial numbers on the 1 dollar bill, they would peek at their numbers then bluff, usually for a drink or they would play you lose the dollar, they had a pile each of 1's to rotate and refresh the bluff. They were good times. Thanks for the video.
ОтветитьMy favorite way to play is when all participants are forced to wear comically large cowboy hats
ОтветитьHorrible laugh
ОтветитьOh, how I wish they would've called each other liars instead of just saying "call"
ОтветитьI need to be in the same room and being taught as I go along. For Liar’s Dice, it truly looks fun
ОтветитьAwante los cachos loco
ОтветитьThis video is the best way to learn to play the game. Thanks for making it!
ОтветитьJust like when we play phrase 10 take the wild cards out n skip bo take the wilds cards out too games more fun
ОтветитьNo wilds period
ОтветитьForgive me, but was there something weird going on with the frame rate or shutter speed or something during filming? I know almost nothing about cameras but something looks weird to me.
Ответитьplayed this in steve jackson's Sorcery!
ОтветитьThis makes me want to play Red Dead Redemption. Too bad I'm a Playstation gamer and RDR is no longer playable on PS5. What a betrayal.
ОтветитьThe one rule they didnt use, which is a rule that I love in liars dice is when you call "spot on"
You make a bet, say five 5's, and then you call "spot on", then you all reveal your dice, and in order for spot on to work, it has to match the exact bet. So if theres EXACTLY five 5's on the board, then EVERYBODY loses a die except for the caller. I love that rule so much
5 dice I play with 6 ?
ОтветитьYou have 3 options, raise the bid, call the bid, or spot on.
Ответитьmy friends family got into it when their dad was playing red dead 1 and I used to stop there each weekend and play too, really fun game
ОтветитьYou called on 6 6s when you were holding three of them? 😮😂
Ответить“Most people know it from Pirates of the Caribbean”…or your misspent youth! Each one out buys a beer for the remaining ones….
ОтветитьThe thing about liars dice is if someone gets a lead. In this case Annalise. It’s incredibly hard to overcome. Because at one point she had over a third of the rice in the game. Probability at the elementary school level let’s you win in that scenario.
ОтветитьRewatching this they didn't so it right, you're suppose to say 'call' for truth which rewards you and you can say 'bluff' if you think they're lying which if called right also rewards you. This way outrageous claims damage the claimant and can keep everyone out of a corner if they think strategically.
If someone says an outrageous claim like "25, 6's" then you can say 'bluff' which punishes them but if they're telling the truth it punishes you.
On the contrary you can say 'call' if you think they guessed right and remove their dice by stealing the point, but if you call wrong that takes your dice and they stay safe.
There's more layers I wish you guys would replay this properly, it seems so bad the way you guys do it with the ability to call such high numbers without repercussion
also what @@eeelvis777 said is correct
"They are lowering the wrong value which limits the game to the 6s
If I call 3 twos you can call 3 threes I can't say 2 three's.
You have number of dice which stays the same or goes higher vs face of dice."
I truly love this game.
But I should have used an interesting rule from the original game: the rule of "exact quantity of dice". For instance; I bet "7 sixes" and the next players calls. If there are exactly 7 sixes when showdown, EVERYONE but me looses one die.
Regards.
Brian needed to call more
ОтветитьThey are lowering the wrong value which limits the game to the 6s
If I call 3 twos you can call 3 threes I can't say 2 three's.
You have number of dice which stays the same or goes higher vs face of dice.
The game doesn't stop at 6s
ОтветитьYou can say 6 sixes the another person can say 7 anything. For example 7 fours. Or call liar or spot on. As long as the first number is higher you're good.
ОтветитьMy partner saw you and thought you were an old Jacksepticeye
ОтветитьClassic bar game in any Hong Kong bar.
ОтветитьFantastic! Another round?
ОтветитьThis is a GREAT drinking game LMAO.
ОтветитьThis is not how you play lairs dice. Why wouldn't you just say 3 sixes from the start every time and end the game in one go
ОтветитьNew to the channel, the dude with glasses really needs to get that lump on his neck checked out.
ОтветитьYour website seems to be down
ОтветитьEr, I dont think you have the rules right
if someone says 4, 4's, you can just go, I HAVE A 6! and thats the new bet ... all coz a 6 is higher then a 4 ... he said 4 4's you gott go 4 5's or 4 6's or up the number of dice
i would love to see a video, maybe on scam nation, where Brian and David just try to figure out ways to cheat at this, and test them. the elimination dice idea is interesting, but i cant figure out how that would actually work?
ОтветитьI put Liar's Dice into every project I write. I hope Mr. Murphy does the same, build up the Liar's Dice Multiverse, lol.
Ответитьthis version is boring.
What we do is no lowering the any value. dice number or dice amount.
You can also bed on the wilds as the highest dice number.
if you bed on the wild then you are allowed to halve the dice amount. Since bedding on wild takes away their value in the game
I have played this before with some real high rollers....no such thing as wilds and all losers on a round ALL lose a die, not just one player.
ОтветитьI play the exact same rules minus the wild ace
ОтветитьWhere everyone was bidding up to the 6's, it seems that the easiest way to make people lose dice would've been to bid 3 or 4 6's as soon as it became your turn. It seems like it would force the others into calling the others bids before the bid came around to you again.
ОтветитьYou guys have no idea.
ОтветитьMy friends and I play with a variant rule where you can call "exact" and if there are the exact amount on the table you get a die back, if not you lose a die.
ОтветитьWhat's to stop you from calling 5 6's off the bat and corning everyone?
Ответить
