When she told of lying down on the spot where her daughter was murdered, my heart broke for her. This poor Mom. She won't ever recover but I do hope, one day, she reaches some semblance of peace.❤️‍🩹💔💌

Money can be the root of all evil, especially in marriages. I have a friend that's been married to her husband, HAPPILY, for twenty one years. They attribute part of their happiness to the fact that they are independently financially stable. They have three bank accounts, HIS, HERS, AND THEIR HOUSEHOLD ACCOUNTS. This means she has her job, and contributes to her own account, as does he, they have their joint household account, where they split the bills 50/50. Therefore, they have the freedom to do whatever they want with their own money, and no one bickers, because there is no reason too. Also they don't feel guilty for spending their Own Hard Earned Money. I've never heard of a more rest at ease marriage. Kudos to them! As a matter of fact, I don't think they've had any disagreements after the first two years of marriage, and those were just figuring out their way.

Wow that would have been so hard to read that impact statement but Lauren's mum did a great job trying to get through it. Even though she broke down near the end she did so well. As a mother seeing this you can't help but think glad it isn't me but then you feel so bad for thinking that. All you can do is have your thoughts with the mum and really hope she's coping well. Lauren's death was such a huge waste.

I suffer from many if not all forms of sleep disorders, the worst being sleep paralysis. Many years ago, I attacked my husband (now ex) while I was asleep. In my dream I was having a fight with another woman, and I was pulling her hair. Suddenly, I woke up to find that I had lifted my husband's head and torso off the bed. I hurriedly popped his head back on the pillow. He hadn't woken because he liked to drink, and smoke weed after work. I admitted to him the next day what I had done. Now I'm on medication, though it's not always foolproof. However, I don't think for one moment that this creep was influenced by drugs or that he committed this horrific crime in his sleep. Even when he was making his statement before being sentenced, he still tried to blame the cold medicine. If he had homicidal ideation, it was incumbent on him to seek help. He chose not to, and a beautiful young woman paid with her life.

Under the hallucinogenic, psychotropic drugs, one can act in violence as well as cleaning up. It’s fucking bizarre I I know, but it’s true.

Such a senseless crime. I bet this young lady was a delight to be around. I pray her mother finds comfort in the fact that she will see her daughter again in heaven. Hallelujah. I’m SO thrilled her and her family know Jesus. I don’t know how people make it one day without Jesus. He cares about every single detail of our life.

This family is stronger than me. My father was brutally murdered in his home recently and I’m still waiting for the police to get the perpetrators/perpetrators. When the time comes I am willing to deal with whatever is necessary to see the monster that did this gets the death penalty.

I know the family of Lauren had to have some input as to the plea agreement. It was up to the family of the monster on this case didn’t have his life taken by the state. I only hope they can find peace, healing and the ability to find purpose in their lives moving forward.
