In this video, you’ll learn how to verify your domain ownership in Google Search Console via the TXT record. Specifically, I’ll show you how to set up your Search Console account, add a web property to that account, and verify your domain so that Google knows you’re the owner.

This is important for a couple of reasons because once you’re verified, you’ll have access to Google search data, you can submit your sitemap to Google, and you’ll have a positive impact on your blog’s presence within Google’s search results.

Please note that I purchased my domain from Namecheap. So, if your domain provider isn’t Namecheap, some of the steps in this video will be different. Nevertheless, most of the steps in the video are the same regardless of where you purchased your domain from.
