That has happened towards my 3rd lobe piercings and even my cartilage piercing on my left ear when I had long hair. I took off the backend of the earrings to get a strand of hair out. Those 3 got infected but, I put in different earrings in them and they did heal just fine. I still have those piercings and even some more,too. I do have 6 piercings on both of my ears.

Dermatologists don't know ish about piercings. That's healed, it's just irritated from the hair getting wrapped around the post. Unwrap the hair and put the head back on and treat it like normal, no need for that to come out. Source: am piercer for 30ish years

Duh, it needs to be cleaned the ear itself including the piercing. When u do this stuff u still have to clean and wash your ear.😮

That's not infected it just had hair wrapped around it. I went to the Dr over my industrial piercing it had a nasty stubborn piercing bump and I still didn't take it out. The Dr told me it was ok to use peroxide since I had it for 5 months already. You just don't wanna use peroxide on a fresh piercing. It helped the bump settle down and eventually go away but it literally took one yr and a month for the bottom hole of my industrial to heal completely bc I changed it way too soon. Top hole healed in 2 months tho go figure lol

If the person put A 9 or 18 carat Gold ring or bar in the ear Pearsing. The person is allergic to the various metals. It happened to me to. Meisie I learned the hard way.

You cannot remove a piercing. A piercing is a hole in the skin. The jewelry doesnt need to come out. It simply needs to be cleaned properly, as any part of the body should be.

All she has to do is clean the ear and piercing, put the ear ring back in and keep it clean. She herself could of removed the hair herself. No need to remove and allow to heal.
