The REAL elephant in the room is, How much do tickets to this superb experience cost? Regular seats, premium seats, BEDS?? If that was in the video, I missed it....!

I've been there 6 times, its so great! Before every movie they show a smartphone screen, then a 50 inch TV and then escalate to a blue whale which swimms comfprtably on the screen. All with perfect music and a deep voice saying "you choosed the biggest screen in the world". Even gives me the chills while writing it :)

Largest in the World as of 2023 (2nd is Melbourne Australia) and this is NOT even in 1.43:1 (70mm IMAX screen) just 1.90:1

I want to visit the largest IMAX theater in the world. If only movie stars, movie fans that have been dead over 70. Years could comeback and see this, I think they would be blown away. Hell, I am still here and I am blown away by this. Back in 1966 I was stationed in Stuttgart and would of crawled to see this palace 4 film. Imax.

Been to this cinema for 20 movies this year already. Every screen is just great. Watched 5 movies in the IMAX (Oppenheimer 3 times, Avatar 1 and Avatar 2). Since I‘m wearing glasses 3D is usually a little weird for me but the 3D effect in the IMAX is so realistic that it tricked me in Avatar 1 a few times when I tried to wipe away some ashes flying around after the hometree was destroyed. It‘s AMAZING

I went their for every IMAX movie they showed, from James Bond to Oppenheimer. I’m disappointed that they show the English version only one or two times, the sound is not perfect, if you sit to far to the left or right it just doesn’t work, and they show to much movies in 3D. It’s also a bummer that they often don’t show movies like Parasite in their regular cinemas, only if they win Academy Awards and the whole show with the worlds biggest whale or 800.000 smartphones just gets repetitive if you go their often.

But it’s definitely a special event and they probably swim in money with every screening being full in the center after only a few minutes.

Thank you for the video! I live in Germany and now I think about to visit the Traumpalast maybe in a few month. The next days I'm going to visit the Filmpalast in Kassel (also in Germany and IMAX) which is called "the most modern Cinema in Europe" to see the Oppenheimer movie.

Beautiful, however I prefer 1.43:1 screen.

Been there earlier in the year and watched Avatar as well. Even though we sat slightly to far near the front (2-3 rows behind us would have been perfect) It's probably the best movie theater I've ever been in, planning to watch something like Dune Part 2 in there next. Luckily, my family lives about 45 minutes from there!

Imagine watching "OPPENHEIMER" in this sucker; your ass would literally get blown away. 🤯

Largest 1.43:1 ie. 15/70 is still Melbourne Australia. The cinema has both digital and film projection.

If you wanted to show Oppenheimer in full frame (1.43:1) on this "biggest screen", you would have nearly 9m of your screen (horizontally) unusable.

While the IMAX screens and their theatre auditoriums you show in this video are quite impressive they do no compare to IMAX Domed theatres, where the movie is shown on a massive 'domed' screen which surrounds the entire audience within the auditorium with imagery of the movie being shown. The domed aspect of the screen gives a truly immersive moviegoing experience like no other. The screens shown in this video, whilst they are quite large, still have the audience looking 'ahead' at a screen in front of them, whereas with the IMAX dome screen the movie's imagery are virtually anywhere and everywhere the audience members look. THAT folks is real IMAX.

Its sad that this isnt a real IMAX that can show 70mm/15perf Film Prints.
The closest ones to Germany are in Prague and in London.
Really want to experience real IMAX at least once, because IMAX with Laser is already amazing and I really like the IMAX sound aswell, Dolby Atmos has more spatial awareness but the umph from IMAX is just plain better

Ich war am Eröffnungstag in der ersten Vorstellung von No Time to Die. Und seitdem in fast jedem Film der dort lief. Top Gun und John Wick 4 sogar 2mal. Ich liebe diesen Ort.
