not gonna lie another good way to move the entity is to make it a snail (yes a snail) and make tracks coming from the place it was originally so it could have that aspect of really moving if you know what i mean

As a way to get in you could've made a portal and linked it to the inside then disguised it to look a bit like the rift, as if it controlled the entity.
