WTF. I took Applied Linear Algebra taught by the creator of this game. For anyone wondering, he was a great teacher. I was tipped off by the fact that the cities you mentioned are all local to the area of the university I studied at.

I disagree that you need to be a full-time game developer to make a good game. MInecraft was a hobby project when Notch made it and he was still working a job.

This game really reminds me of Ken's Labyrinth in terms of audio, artistic style, and nature as an experiment made into a game. Even the whole "Welcome" at the beginning is the same.

Great Video! If “fractal like” is in fact a video game genre, I remember there being quirky game on the PS4 called “everything” that also utilized shrinking as a game mechanic. Also I really like what you said about making art; I think we’re indoctrinated to think that what we do has to be the most impactful successful thing ever created, “go big or go home” as they say. But you know what, sometimes we don’t want all that, sometimes we just want to make something because it sounds cool, because we’re inspired to; and often, that’s enough..

Open the console and type "inf2". This still turn on gravity and allow you to create and destroy blocks. Type it again to turn it off. Also if you have red-blue 3D glasses, you can wear those and play the game in that mode. I really appreciate your video.
