No character customization, it's one of the best things about rust and with so many changing names constantly it helps with identification and bounty's too.

Legacy better be free for old players

Character Customisation? Yes. Once everything else is done; all of the concept limbo stuff has either been added or dismissed, all the bugs fixed and the game is completely optimised then of course start working on this. Until then, everything else should take priority!

Hope you can use metal detector to find that ak that the enemy dropped that slid down the hill and got caught in the grass somewhere :D

What I want to see is old recoil added back to the game. Then rust will see more players coming back.

Facepunch is completely shameless paywalling items that have pretty significant effects on gameplay and hyping it up the entire way through development, I think theyve started spending more time figuring out how to monetize Rust than fixing the old or adding new content... is this how theyre getting the funds for Rust 2 or are they just selling out?

I'm against character customization. If they let us customize character everyone will just be the darkest possible character to hide in the night and in dark spaces with.

I'd only be okay with character customization if you had say maybe up to 3 and chose one before loading into a server. You can't customize it without losing all ur BPs across any server you've played on. That way you can have some options but still cant change ur appearance mid wipe. Sometimes people change names mid wipe but i recognize their character model.

if rust adds player model customization they are grasping for money and rust is dead

Dear Facepunch - How about flipping the switch on EAC to let us play rust on linux via steam play? It's just hubris and a colossal "f*** you" at this point

Pine Hosting is trash they require after initial purchase you to also purchase increased CPU and Ram without purchasing these upgrades you won't be able to even run the server. It is absolutely trash unless you wish to pay 50 dollars monthly for a 50 man server lol.

I agree they should stick to their guns with how they approached the characters. BUT, at least give a different generated character each wipe - or something you can work up throughout a wipe that either randomizes or keeps the character.

I started playing when underwater maps were just added, quite insane how much the game has changed since.

I was sad to come back and find that rust is starting to move toward PTW structure

What I think of the game at this point? Me: selling all my $600 317 rust skins before rust 2 comes Along!


Because I guarantee you they'll make you spend another $40 for another copy and paste version with possible better graphics. 😂 And then cancel the old game and shut down all the servers... And then all your own skins from the original rust game will be worthless.
