Discover Bank is at 4.35% now.
ОтветитьWhat do you think about Vanguards new saving account? its a little higher than Capital 🤔
ОтветитьWhat does that red rooster on your desk mean?
ОтветитьAny opinions on Moomoo giving 5.1% APY? Just started with them but was curious about whatbothers think. I also have my money in SoFi and they are giving 4.6% but im trying to grow my money so the higher yield is attractive
ОтветитьThanks dude 👍🏻
ОтветитьGreat video very informative and straight to the point! Thanks for sharing I will go for Capital One ☝🏻
ОтветитьDoes the Discover account have debit/ATM cards?
ОтветитьNo savings account ever pays more than the inflation rate. So a high rate just means you lose your money slower.
Far better to put your savings into bullion.
For these savings accounts, is there a fee you have to pay for withdrawing money from your account? (most specifically CIT bank)
ОтветитьI don’t understand why SoFi requires the direct deposit, I would’ve picked them if they didn’t
ОтветитьDo you have any video of the best CD’s rates??? That we can invest our many. Thank you
ОтветитьIts not "free", you have to pay income taxes!!!
ОтветитьWhich would you pick personally to save money for college?
ОтветитьLove Sofi. Checking, savings, stock account with fractional shares,Roth IRA, and a round up that rounds up your purchases and deposits the change into a separate account. Crypto too but you can't transfer it so I'm sticking to Coinbase for that.
Ответитьthese are all variable rates on all of these 5 right ? Can you share the last 12 months - beginning interest rate and end so I can see the variation of interest rates
ОтветитьHey mate, a question about Capital One, and thanks for the fantastic information across the board. Big fan. You’re always so intentional with your financial decisions, so I’m intrigued why Capital One is your HYSA of choice, as opposed to the options that sit above 5%. Could you share why you see that as personally more beneficial?
ОтветитьWhat are your thoughts about Ally bank?
ОтветитьFirst Foundation Bank - 5% APY. They also have some branches in SoCal and a few other states, in case you need to get brick-and-mortar services like getting certified/cashier's checks
ОтветитьAwesomeness…. Thanks for keeping it Simple!! Great information
ОтветитьHey Professor G.. can you make a vid for the people in my situation, we are many out of the USA ? Im looking for a virtual bank , I have an opened LLC in FL, have ein number, registered agent, and no bank will open an account for me so far.
I´ve tried with: Mercury, Relay, Novo, Lili, Brex, these were supost to accept people in my situation, some of them filters already in the phone number, others dont accept registered agents addresses, or virtual address.
Step mobile gives you 5% as long as you have direct deposit set up
ОтветитьThese bank accounts seem to good to be true. So sketchy to me, but I want one 😅
ОтветитьThird of the way into the video and still hasn’t started. I’m out
Ответитьwhats minimum you have to put in on capital one savings account?
ОтветитьWhat are your thoughts on UFB??
ОтветитьAnyone have any experience using SoFi? I'm a little skeptical
Ответитьim 18 and want to start my roth savings account as soon as possible
im a soon to be college student also
I bank with becu but im kinda stuck on what savings account would be best for me in my situation
do these work for canadians?
ОтветитьCapital One is my main bank, initially I went with them after Citi sold all their branches. Occasionally, need brick and mortar support. Marcus is also at 4.3%, I have some funds there. I have several t-bill ladders with Treasury Direct. Averages about 5.3% and incurs no state income tax, though I live in Texas so that wasn't a personal consideration.
ОтветитьI like bread savings, there ach transfer out is low at 5k a day.
ОтветитьRobinhood is a great one and also apple new savings account
Ответитьhey is discover and sofi available in canada ?
ОтветитьI get really high APY by using Ally
ОтветитьThe $200 bonus from Discover HYSA applied in 24 hours for me. Good deal for churning.
ОтветитьNice rooster, I have one in every room of my house.
ОтветитьGreat content.
ОтветитьNo doubts, A good way of growing and saving your money is through investing . You don't need to have much before you can invest. "That little money you have now can make you millions if you invest it wisely". I wasnt financial free until my 40’s and I’m still in my 40’s, bought my second house already, earn on a monthly through passive income and got 4 out of 5 goals, just hope it encourages someone that it doesn’t matter if you don’t have any of them right now, you can start TODAY regardless your age INVEST and change your future! Investing is a grand choice I made
ОтветитьLol…you should of made this video in January 2023…. Lol
ОтветитьI’m getting 5.05 apy at CIT bank. Compounded daily interest. And interest is paid every month.
ОтветитьSofi direct deposits have to be a minimum of $1000/mo too... I don't make enough money for that
ОтветитьThank you! Very helpful, glad I found your channel and just subscribed. Already following your advice with the 3 ETF plan!
ОтветитьI really liked the video, one more subscribed. Thank you for simplifying it. What do you think about Western Alliance Savings? And also Bask Bank?
ОтветитьI really appreciate this simple tutorial! I’ve watched so many of these but there are subtle nuances that make a difference and for me yours was how you use them. Thank you!! I’ll watch the ETF one next! I’ve been told HYSA and pay off the loans and don’t invest until you’re done VS invest and pay minimums. 😅
ОтветитьWhat is your opinion on putting 75k - 100k in one HYSA ?
ОтветитьVmfxx pays 5.25 percent
ОтветитьHi,
why does capital one have such a bad reputation on trustpilot (1,3/5)?
The discover account looks enticing. How much of our income should we keep in our checking account?
ОтветитьHi Professor G, I was wondering about emergency funds and the transfer time like you have mentioned with Capital One.
Thankfully I haven't had an emergency yet, but I would imagine having to wait 2-5 business days could become an emergency in and of itself. Would it be better to keep that emergency fund in my bank's basic savings account for quick access? Or, if I'm not financially strained despite being a low-income earner, do you think most "emergency" situations would allow for the time for funds to be transferred?
Thanks for the video!
What’s your opinion on money market accounts ?
ОтветитьLove Capital one hybrid approach to banking
