I still prefer the older graphics. Maybe nostalgia, but I feel like because everything looks so similar now, the old graphics carry a charm that can't be beaten. Those little polygonal limbs are unmistakably FF7 and I love everything about them. I look at them and envision the lifelike structure in my head. Nothing can compare.

I stopped watching after this. Why people do this? And why no one days anything? Is such an obvious lie and he says it so natural. I hate lies. I hate false advertising, and thats whay this game is.

Honestly, ff 7 remake was my first final fantasy experience, and it raised my expectations about the other final fantasy games too much. So much that made me almost dislike ff xv. I love ff 7 remake.

But they nerfed Tifa's boobs. 😂😂

I love that FF7s characters look exactly the way the illustration community imagined them when they would make their hd ff7 fan art from back in the day. Thank you for keeping it in the community and the dream alive!

Had the Remake not been a Real Time Game but still turn based I would've loved it but that battle system was horrible. Still the rest of the game as still awesome, even though the overall design was a bit more bland and generic in terms of level design. Hope the 2nd part with be a bit more quirky.

I paid 90 dollars at service merchandise for Chrono trigger on day one of release. So anyone bitching about price of games should chill out. I believe it's better than it used to be. Also just wait. Sales on PSN and the psplus service are fantastic value.

So I’ve seen a couple of comments floating around complaining how FF7R is incomplete. It isn’t. It’s a reference to how the original FF7 was split among 3 separate discs. By beefing the amount of content in the remakes, they’re basically giving you 3 complete games tied together rather than an actual 1/3 of a game.

For me , Original still the best

It's crazy that ff7 remake in-game cut scenes are better visually than the ff7 movie advent children

original is way better . since u had to use your head more to start with . then you can set the voice of each char . and use your imagination more . gameplay way better . not realy into smash dash game witch this have become . woulde been way better if the enemies had faster action movies. to compare lets say u have in the old one time fore each char to make a attack then the enemy has their , on the new ones you have one eternity then the opponent makes one move then an eternity for you again . put on defence uste stuff plan ahead so on in battle. new one . smash buttons

Which one is better for anyone that has never played FF7 before?

I mean, I did play a big chunk of the og game but I don't like turn-based combat so I dropped it.

I want to keep playing but I don't know if I should just jump into the remake or give the og a chance since that one is already completed.

Big fan of the remake. Ff7 was the very first rpg I played, when I was 15 years old in 2000, so the nostalgia is deep. However the game hit a home run. I wish they used similar mechanics on the newer games.

I think it sucks that they only put the midgar section in the remake, so they made a third of the game into a remake, so fans will have to wait god knows how long for the other two 3rds.

When I know that the remake will appear on PC. God damn, I was Waiting for it. When the game is out, I immedeately started playing and that was pure pleasure to retrun to the final fantasy series, 'cause I was playing the original game on my phone during a break between classes. I really enjoyed the remake, but when I saw, that there is no open world yet, I was a bit dissappointed, but that's okay, 'cause big games require time to make. I'm waiting for part 2 to come. And I imagine playing it, that'll be the purest pleasure, 'cause I'm a fan of final fantasy series even though I started from the 13'th and I thing that the 13'th and the remaked 7'th are the best. Also I want to play the 10'th. I saw the 15'th, but I didn't like it, it seems too buggy and not quite dynamic unlike the 7'th remastered. Complete masterpiece for me

I'm so glad they ditched the turn based combat. I've only ever enjoyed a handful of them over the years and there's way too many of them.

1997 full final fantasy 7 game $60. Full final fantasy 7 remake after all installments $1000 lol maybe more who knows...

I would of preferred a like for like copy tbh, they cut good stuff out to add alot of filler didnt like it....i tuned out after the honey bee dance.. graphically ok sound ok story dont mess with my story

it covers the first disc of the PS1 game, its pretty spot on and at 100GB it is a massive and beautifully detailed Midgar

Concerning the music: While the music in the Remake is obviously redone, resulting in a more beautiful composition, the redone battle system has made it harder to focus on such a beautiful soundtrack since not only are you more busy with controlling the characters, but also the new sound effects make it harder to hear and appreciate the soundtracks.

Meanwhile, the older version is more profound and hearable since you are less busy with controlling the characters, and the sound effects only activate when you or the enemies make a move.

These changes, while I'm sure wasn't intended, resulted in players listening less attentively to the music compared to the original.

Wall market is a great town in the remake but what they should have done was sprinkle in the original building style of homes built of junk and whatnot. I also considered a slums add on that was just that style of building.

Most players believe, Aerith's death is non canon confirmed and Sephiroth with her.

However it's a same choices for the gameplay, where players missed.

Also most characters are returning as playable, where from spin offs and some cuts in original game.

If remake number 7 part 2 and 3, it may possible HD backgrounds and enemies.

Also different scenes are similar from cutscenes.

The original is 1000x better. The only thing better in the remake is the graphics.

Is anybody else disappointed by the fact that you can't choose Cloud's lines of dialogue in the remake

Man I love both games so much, honestly no complains, just be happy the original team even made one, if they put everything into one game it'd be like 300-400 GB prob... since the Part One for the remake is around 94 GB alone 0_0
