For a case I recommend a case with basic active cooling. A small fan and heat sink. You don’t need an ice tower cooler. A nice case with active cooling should cost you no more than 20 bucks 10-50 if you know what to look for. I got a mouse and keyboard for free. Just go online and buy a wireless usb mouse( they come from about 7 bucks for one) and a keyboard you could get one for really cheap as well.

Lazy Project, cheap ugly 3d printed case, why you install raspios instead of the retropie image(not released at that time? beta would have been sufficient!) but that all was nothing compared to the fact that you filmed the screen. Looks so bad. 2 Thumbs down...

i made a google doc that has all of the instructions and links for setup for raspbian, install on commander pi (for overclocking), 1.15.2 java Minecraft, and retropie (with autostart). Like if you want a link for the doc make public

to anyone following his instructions after my comment here, ignore the step where you edit retropie with the sudo nano command to make it a raspberry pi 3, the retropie 4.6 and beyond already support raspberry pi 4. everything else is dead on accurate. Thank you good sir for your walk through.

You can download pre-made images that are pretty slick and boot straight into retro pie with 1000s of games all set up. Nice to see it from scratch though

Best to Get a Starter Kit it comes with everything ie Power mouse keybord 16 or 32gb sd card with noobs or rasbian on it all thats needed is a Moniter that has a Hdmi slots And yes Tv can be Used Provided thay have Hdmi

I ordered the Raspberry 4 from CanaKit and my SD card was sent with NOOBS already installed (which includes Raspian).
Do I need to do the whole flashing step with my Mac as well or can I go straight into the setup steps in the Raspberry?
