intel UHD 620 | Fortnite Chapter 2 / Season 11 - Big Performance issues...

I actually play on intel uhd 620, 8 gb ram, i5 8250U @3.4 ghz and a hdd. I’m playing the game on 800x600 with scale fullscreen on which stretches the game out to fill my entire screen and i’m getting 100 + fps in creative and 65 - 80 in regular game but cause of my hdd the game lags quite a bit same with valorant because the gpu and cpu both drop to 0 randomly but doesn’t happen in csgo so i dunno what’s up with that but it does run quite well 😂

Its probably rendering on cpu and not on uhd620 because i have avg 42fps in fortinighty with uhd620 i5 and 24gb of ram in dual chanel

To be honest i have the same laptop but with latest uhd graphics version

i have a lenovo yoga 520 with the same specs but it runs much better with a charger connected

Almost same specs but cpu at 1.20ghz with tweaks I get 35-50 fps

On a serious note I get 200 to 100Fps in Creative and about 70 to 80 in Public games soo... but I don’t stutter and have large FPS spikes a lot I don’t know fix for this

Dude the only reason u are getting potato fps on that graphics card is because you are using dx11. This means that the game will only render on 1 cpu. You can fix this by changing it to dx12, which uses most cpu and threads for best performance, or performance mode, a huge advantage over the others.

Might be a broken gpu? I used to play on this card (I got a 1660 super a while ago) and my performance was much better than that. I could get almost 30fps on 720p low with UHD 620 graphics

Undervolt cpu , overclock igpu if possible , faster ram , update i gpu drivers to thr latest , change power limits , to high power usage and plug it in .

I get 30 fps using 6th gen intel i5 mobile cpu with single chanel memory
