Excellent work Fabio. Now amd's video cards are cheaper than NVidia's 40 series, but dlss 3 is a very important improvement for fps, do you believe that fsr 3 will have the possibility to use ray tracing in ultra at more than 60 fps?

Why do you have less fps in games with xtx compared to xt with the same processor.

Hey There, I am only getting 80 FPS on witcher 3 with this same setup while you get 125, any idea what could be wrong? I checked all the settings. Even undervolted/overclocked and no changes...

You also tested te rx 6950 xt. How much more performance is the 7900 xtx in ultrawide? Im torn between the two gpu's. In my country (the Netherlands) the 6950xt is 650 and the 7900 xtx is 999. Thanks for your nice benchmarks!

Amazing. I have this build and want to get a wide-screen. Can you just put it to 16:9 i.e. replicate a 27inch and play with black bars if you want to?

I am on 13700k and thinking to go for 7900xtx, so is there any barrier thats holds up against performace between these to combos ? Seems RT not that bad except on cyberpunk 2077 and witcher 3 and both CDPR games and both very close with nvidia sponsored and devs worked with nvidia even and dying light 2 also but i seen vids where 4090 has to use DLSS to get good stable framerate itself at 4k to max that out but other than that.XTX is a beast.

im sorry but how did u get 100+ fps in plague tale on res higher than 1440p on HIGH settings if in less res other tests have less fps

Thank you for posting this test. I'm thinking about getting this cpu and gpu from micro center because they have a bundle going on which includes the cpu, ram, and mobo. I'm on budget and this bundle seems very reliable.

Question? Would you recommend liquid cooling or a fan for this cpu? Liquid cooling is a bit pricey and was thinking about getting the Deepcool AK620 to go with this cpu? Would this be enough to keep the Temps low? Thank you!

well thank you, for testing the games in their mid part f story and not showing the usual first 15 mins.

Interesting. I got the hellhound 7900xtx with the ryzen 7 7700x and I'm averaging 120fps in cyberpunk 2077 ultra settings with no rtx. Wonder if the 32gb of ddr5 at 6000mhz has something to do with that

To be honest i hope FSR 3 will fix a lot of issues like that RT cyberpunk 2077 and the Witcher 3 can barely reach 60 fps. 60 fps is kinda the limit from what i assume as playable.

3440x1440p looks great and love the 21:9 aspect ratio. Me personaly I prefer it over 4k until we have ultrawide 4k monitors with above 144hz and the hardware to match with that

tring my best to reach performance from video.. have 7800x3d+7900xtx oc+undervold+ultrawide. Witcher around 105fps, native no hairworks, in the same place where u are in video. in other videos yt tests fps is about mine, but yours is slightly higher, cant understand what is a point? maybe driver and game version..
