Raspberry Pi 400 - A Swing and a Miss! Why You Should Not Buy

The nonsense about the battery is just that, nonsense. If you're going to use it you need a monitor or tv are you going to power that from a battery?

4gb RAM is normally enough for daily usage, 8gb is good but with which price? I guess the foundation targets to making "cheap" and good product so only saving maybe decresing to ram size to optimum size.
Edit: Maybe in the future there should be another edition something like raspberry pi 400 plus or extreme edition that including extra ram, battery even case for touch screen things. It might be so cool and practical.

This whole entire system is garbage I have on it was bought for me for either my birthday or Christmas and I was so disappointed when I got it because nothing was installed on it first off I had to install everything on it myself and nothing would work no matter what I installed on here it would not work it had some type of problem every single time I would put a OS on here.

My thoughts on it were "well it has 2 hdmi outs, and it's a fraction of the cost of a GPU card with the same functionality".
Oh and it cam talk to electronics .. I'm not aware of much other platforms that can do that

I've just started to be a Rasp. fan (not having their HW yet!)... Now I'm thinking... maybe I need to wait a bit?

firstly. I like it because it does well with the amiga pi softwareif you need the 3.5 jack it is built into your tv and if your on a bluetooth sound bar it too has those 3.5 outputs. as for it being a personal computer it is fine. its not a gaming machine at all except I love the amiga games. and if I want I can run petro pi by simply swapping a micro sd card and power it up. I alsi am or was big in the commodore 64-128 scene. the pie with a keyboard makes it so I dont have to hook up a usb keyboard. its a hit for me.!!!

Hello guys, my pi400 is not working, it is brand new. I flash pi os on an sd card and not booting, only one green led blinking over and over again. Can you help me? I dont know what to do

These are amazing for 3d printing with octoprint. Linking hot keys for quick movements is where it’s at. I own 6 of the 400’s so far and will be buying at least a dozen more

The problem with Pi 400 is, it goes to the trash when it breaks. You have to throw it because no way to get parts, basically no way to repair ir.

R-Pi4 8GB kit cost $265 ATM! I just grabbed a Pi400 for $135 and I think its pretty awesome (coming from R-Pi3 1GB RAM). From where I come from 4GB is a lot of RAM for this sort of SOC.

I was just to click the "buy" button on Amazon. This is the ONLY video I've seen against buying the Pi 400...all you said makes sense to me. I will wait for the Pi 500. Thanks.

I bought a 128GB MicroSD card works just fine.

It's a tinkerers kit, like an Arduino more so imo.
