Being Eco at Boomland: Behind the Scenes

In Boomland we see waste as a resource. Behind the scenes, there is a team dedicated to sorting the remains and placing them in the appropriate containers and processes.

Ecological consciousness is a top priority before, during and after the events. Leftover food but also plates, cups and cutlery made from organic materials will contribute to enriching the soil of Boomland and other places in the region.  In the 2023 edition, 20 tons of material resulted in compost used for vineyard cultivation, and 23 tons were used to produce electrical energy.

During the construction of the festival, all materials such as plastics, metal, cardboard, oils or paints are placed in the appropriate containers and sent to recycling. Our mission is to protect and regenerate, leaving nature better than we found it, and saving resources.
