rofl. i love russia as much as any russian but beth seriously has the coolest bar routine in the world. if she wouldn't have taken that step on the dismount she wouldve won but go team russia haha

I know this is a late response but she had it "ready" in the training gym back in Rotterdam at the 2010 Worlds (there's a video of her doing it and taking like 4 steps back) and was prepared to throw it if the Chinese girls hit in the UB final, and I just assumed that it was going to be one of her upgrades here.

how is it that she is in her late 20's and competing in the olympics when other countries send teenagers?

Her routine to qualify for the olympics final a few days was stunning and so complex, she got a 16.33 or something like that, don't worry she's got tonnes of tricks still up her sleeve! If she doesn't get gold, then the games are fixed.

she dosent have a chance of gold with this routine. she needs more DV and it has to be a lot cleaner. but fingers crossed. i would love beth to retire the olympic champion

well it wouldnt be, because she wouldnt of had that sort of start values on beam or vault.

Was He kexin even picked for the team for london>? I read that that 4 were picked with one spot left between like 3 other girls, and he kexin was one, the other 2 were better at the other events.?

This routines needs more difficulty and a harder dismount like for real her dismount could be more dificult!!!

Great routine! If she adds her Fabrichnova and does all of her combinations, she'll have 7.3 start value which is the second highest this quad! Btw, is her leo the same one WOGA had this year at Nationals but in blue?

I liked her "new" routine construction with the bigger Tweddle combination at the beginning, hopefully she's this solid in London but I'm still waiting for her Fabrichova
