One of my biggest issues with this trailer is we never see pyramid ships in the city. They are only in the skybox and there is one above you in the strike, but they do basically nothing in the story. This truely was a cabal DLC, not a darkness DLC like it should have been

It's eye-opening to watch this now. Calus and the Witnesses dialog, the grenade launcher, us destroying a pyramid ship on neomuna, the fall from what seemed to be a skyscraper, the music, the mysterious figure with a cape, none of this is actually in the game......

This aged.... poorly.

Criticize Bungie for making this dogshit expansion, but seriously give credit to whoever they hired to make this trailer because, even after the release, this is still awesome.

Man, It could have... Should have been so good

Revisiting after the dissapointment. The DLC had quite a lot of potential, but Bungie screwed it up. Imagine if we were actually fighting through skyscrapers or across the rooftops. Swinging through the highest points of the city. Instead we got a mostly ground area with a disappointingly short skybox and an incredibly prenerfed grapple. The story could have saved it, but they went and screwed that up too. I sincerely hope that was for the better development of The Final Shape, but hope is a sad thing.

Well this ended up being ludicrously disappointing

ngl I was very hopeful before I got lightfall. I really didn't want to believe the hate for this. I felt like everyone was hating it for no good reason. I kinda understand know. I'm not mad that the things in the trailer aren't in the actual game or how nothing in neomuna isn't really fun. I'm mad that I paid $100 dollars for literally nothing. like, yeah, strand is cool, but playing through the campaign to get strand was actually not fun.

I really hope the final shape won't be like this. I really do.

I'm not too mad about the city not looking exactly as it looked here and us not fighting a fleet of pyramid ships because it's advertising, but Bungie is too good at it to let this slide. We can't let them do this to us during Final Shape.

Lightfall DLC was uninteresting unfinished boring half-assed DLC. You can't explore whole city totally different than "Reveal Trailer" You can only sight seeing Trailer areas from faraway its so lame Bungie.

Still waiting for the true Lightfall dlc witch fits with this insane Trailer.
