What is the Most Beautiful Motorcycle?

I test rode one the other day and it was soo good.

The Indian is not as beautiful as your art pieces. Many awards await your talented output!
In fact. It’s not as beautiful as many other bikes. A lot of modern bikes have a single shock on one side of the frame. It is purely a cost cutting/packaging method for a shorter wheelbase and looks just as awful on this as on a Kawasaki Ninja 650! And it’s annoyingly asymmetric. As does the contrived single entry, double exit muffler. The rego plate holder of that design has been around for years. They’re nicknamed “pooper scoopers” for the very reason they not only look shit. But pick up shit! The fake tank is too small, the visual weight is too rearward and the handlebars are too high and the tail too low. Maybe those last few points are a reflection of the too long wheelbase you mentioned!

I watched this video 2 years ago, when I passed my CBT (learner's permit in UK), and I've just watched it again, after having to re-do the CBT (2 year life span, life got in the way of the absolute cash-grab that is the big test £750). I still think now, as I did then, that this is the most beautiful motorcycle I've ever seen. I am determined to own one within the next 5 years!

You sound like someone who has been told or taught what beauty within design should be, like a university graduate of the history of classical art. But you seem to lack the understanding of juxtaposition, flavour and style of the Katana which in my eyes is more of a beautiful bike with the sharp cuts and bevels with different opposing elements that still seem to interact with each other as they flow into one another. It looks as though a samurai has sliced and cut the parts with swift movements of his blade. The shape and movement that the silhouette creates is quite obvious to me, but I guess not everyone can appreciate beauty that is not considered to be standard or what is taught in a classroom.

And in an act of unforgivable incompetence, that bike is photographed for the Indian website in such a way as to make it look horrible.

Great video, but I find the look of this bike a bit boring, because it`s too balanced. No dominating elements make it look like a grill. Honda integra 700 might be an example of how dominating elements are important in the look. Imho.

For me the most beautiful motorcycle is honda Africa twin 1100 ❤. I will buy it one day. It is my dream bike and i will work hard for it to turn my dream in to reality.

I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder; to each rider (often despite objective evidence) their bike is the most beautiful...as it should be.

This man has a special talent. He could do a video on a vegetable and it would be interesting. He has a sort of Rod Serling quality in the way he speaks. I think he just sold me on that Indian.

I have a kawasaki concourse in the factory apple red color. I always hear people saying its "ugly" because one half is far to big to fit together with the other half looking sporty.
I believe thats what makes it beautiful.

You can justify a design’s aesthetic choices all you want, but that doesn’t mean it will translate to something pleasing.

To me, visual art should never need explaining to be good. They just are..

Man being born and bred in Maple Ridge it's crazy seeing so many places I know in these videos, can't disagree with it though, we definitely got some nice areas out this way.

Very subjective but I will say not a fan of the bike it self prefer japanese fast reliable and great handlers but the older Ducati 988 and 748 that string of ducatis were so slick looking. Would love to graft that body work on a mid 2000 130 hp zx6 light fast and slick as all get out.

Definitely. And the worst thing they did to it was swap the 18/19 combo wheels for 17s instead of just putting better rubber on or making better rubber FOR the cool wheels.

I never really liked motorcycle looks very much. I liked motorcycles, but only a few I found cool, and my tastes were very specific. Then I rode one, and then all motorcycles became incredibly beautiful. Not because of its looks, but how I know it would speak to me when being ridden. Cars seem to the be opposite. You can just leave it and it will look pretty, or ugly. But motorcycles are so much about the feeling, that all motorcycles have a deep subjective beauty to them that only bikers will understand.
