As Alan stated in the video, the hybrid delivers its best highway efficiency with consistent/steady drive conditions but is sensitive to fluctuating traffic wherein EV mode can't engage as often/easily. The constant highway filtering that we had to do on NH8 is what ate into the City Hybrid's efficiency.

Ответитьlol completely highway drive with just marginal city driving, you expect a hybrid to defeat diesel lol.
The fact that even with that much highway driving it was so close tells you which ones better.
Do a complete City drive and see who wins, and with that margin. Definitely it won’t be close like the highway.

I own a Honda Amaze iDtec. Even tho it only has a 35L tank, I easily get 750km range everytime I fill up. On long drives TVM -> Kozhikode fuel efficiency on the dash is always between 23.5 to 24.7kmpl.

People saying it's slow. Ive got 100bhp and 200nm of torque on a car that weighs 850kg. It's zippy.
I was emotionally hurt when Honda decided to stop diesels, i was in college and my dream was to buy a Honda city Diesel and i just passed out this year then thought will buy amaze Diesel and now they are only available in second hand market. I will always miss the option to buy a new Diesel engine by Honda. I love Honda and we have two Honda cars at home, a city 2008 and trust me it still works as good as new even after 15 years of life i obviously cannot drive that on roads anymore but none of my family members wants to sell it. I wish Honda bring back the diesels but that’s not going to happen now.

i own a vw vento and honda city petrol. Let me tell me you one important thing to consider, the range "0" on vw cars comes pretty early from honda...VW can run more in range "0" then the hondas. Tried & tested

ОтветитьI’m from northeast and we have just one dealership of VW that too it’s 400 kms away from my location, it’s sad that they don’t provide enough service centres and dealerships in our northeastern states, if we people here would like to buy any of their models than we have rethink about their after sales services. So here the enthusiasts people who would like to have one VW would rather buy other brands like Hyundai or Honda because of network service centre’s availability.

ОтветитьNo diesel sedan under 25-30 lac in the Indain market that provide auto transmission. Last was hyundai verna & that has also been discontinued... Hopefully some good brand should restart diesel with auto transmission below the 30 lac budget in a sedan ..skoda diesel is actually missed by many ... no matter petrol or hybrid the good fuel efficiency is diesel & wins by a huge margin.. any idea if any good brands will get diesel sedans. I have a 2019 skoda rapid diesel , 2018 skoda superb both with auto transmission & thr mileage is unbeatable. Drove the petrol slavia, octavia & superb they will finish ur pockets with the bad fuel efficiency by all 3. With my little rash driving the mileage was really terrible ... my diesel rapid on highways gives me fuel efficiency of 25plus km & diesel superb manages to give 18-19...
