Anytime I see anyone with the fanny pack, I automatically think concealed weapons carrier, which makes you a target. I'd rather carry concealed without giving myself away as a potential target.

Nice idea. Just draws unnecessary attention which costs you the element of surprise. Also lets the aggressor know where he/she needs to focus their efforts in keeping you away from. When you can appendix carry, or off 3-5 o’clock, 6 o’clock, or 7-9 o’clock, shoulder holster on left or right, or ankle….and you just made the aggressors job that much hard because he/she doesn’t know where your weapon is. I would MAYBE “fannypack” carry if I were hiking on a nature trail known to have coyotes, mountain lions, or any other dangerous wild animal that may want to snack on you or your wife and kids. Just my opinion, but what do I know, I’m just a retired Veteran who can’t even spell gunne.
