Acc. To mark galer the Wide area is very reliable in 90 percent of the cases. I think many who change from Canon are used to the "flexible" mode and continue with that even with Sony cameras.

Hey Julia, great video! I have a question, however. What do you do about the sony a7iii not having the option of setting aspect ration to 4:3? How does one compensate for this when they want to post their images to Instagram. I end up cropping the picture I take in post, but then the image is not the same and so it sort of screws up composition for me.

Since you are very experienced with Canon and most of your work is has been done with Canon gear, would like to ask you after having the Sony A73 for a year now which camera do you find yourself pincking up now for your photoshoots? Still canon your main camera or have you switched full to Sony?

Excellent Video... I took a lot out of this video although I have my camera set up a bit differently in several ways... I really like Eye-AF both for people shooting and for my dog portraits, BTW: my go-to lens for the A7iii is the Tamron 28-75mm f/2.8 which I also use on my Sony APSC cameras. I love the 42-112.5mm equivalent focal length when shooting people and dogs. However, for outdoor portraiture, I really like my Sony 85mm f/1.8 G lens on either the A7iii on my APSC format cameras...
