Are the gx470 parts and this oil filter assembly the same part on a 4th gen 4runner? I need to get the assembly part, not the cooler piece. I over torq’d and cracked the oil sensor threads.
Ответитьawasom Vedic man. wow. this was great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ОтветитьWould you be able to supply the torque specs for the nuts and bolts? Great video!
ОтветитьWhere exactly was leak coming from, figure 8 gasket or the big O ring, or washer?
ОтветитьHow much oil was actually leaking for you to notice? I have a little oil leak on the front driver side right by the filter. There’s no puddles when I park up just a couple drops. I have an ‘07 with 217k miles. Things a champ
ОтветитьIs there an option to buy new oil adopter or only seals and gaskets, I can’t seem to find new part for 09 gx470
ОтветитьThanks for the tip with the little torch. My lx470 rubber seal was rock solid in the same area.
ОтветитьVery helpful video. Thank you.
I recently purchased a gx470. What website do you use for viewing parts diagrams? Also, what websites do you recommend for buying parts? Thanks again.
The steel washer is OEM with the bolt. I don’t think it’s available separately from the dealer unless you purchased the bolt. The steel washer with the rubber seal in the center is actually a washer gasket for the VVT-I cam cap. But if it doesn’t leak that’s also good. Great video.
ОтветитьSweet instructional video, thanks.
ОтветитьGreat video and tips! Always a bonus when you get to use the mini torch. 🔥
ОтветитьHi, Why is a coolant line attached or running through a oil filter? Thanks
