Mazda CX9 Water Sound - The Fix

Our 2018 Mazda CX9 started making a distinct sound of running water on startup and idle. It sometimes becomes more evident when making sharp turns at full lock. After some googling I found out that it could either be due to low coolant or the AC drain from the bottom of the car to be vacuumed out with a wet vac. I didn't mention that the door drains could also be clogged which could be a possibility but in my case it was low coolant.

Make sure to use premix and hopefully this video helps you.
If you still notice the coolant level dropping overtime, check to see if your car is still under warranty.
Otherwise you'll want to have it inspected for a cylinder head replacement, complete engine replacement, or a head gasket replacement.
