Best monetization is in SWTOR nowadays, imho. just monthly subscribtion, and otherwise that does not change anything at all. All costumes and whatchanot can be earned the normal way, gear score does not really mean anything-having one good character you can easily lvl up and gear up another.. and etc. So far I didn't see better monetization system for mmorpg imho. Then again, Swtor is not korean mmorpg, soo..... haha

Pvpve makes no sense at all. The logic of the caves in on itself.

I just want a massive MMORPG I can play day one and experience with everyone else. I am always years behind which kinda sucks. Hopefully I can catch Tower of Fantasy or one of the other big upcoming ones. This game really does look pretty awesome!

This game looks like it would have been amazing if it had an action combat system but I have had fun with tap target before so I'll wait and see.

Tab targeting gets silly hate from some people. The best mmos ever made have all used tab targeting.

Almost no MMORPG game launches today where you know almost nothing about it or how to optimize play in any way. By the time most games launches today, you almost don’t feel the need to play because you’ve at least seen quite a few people play it already and don’t quite feel if you be playing that you be exploring the truly unknown by playing.

NCSoft doesn't do minimal monetization. And forced PvP! PTW + PVP .. I'll pass. I play to have fun, not be ganked by a player that just spent $5000.00 on his/her character to auto-win every combat!

i've been playing MMO's for 15 years, i can tell one thing. all of these look like a greedy money grab and nothing more. oh you'll minimize the P2W "effect" how kind of you. instead sit down, put an actual game together and only allow players to play by monthly payment. But hey, who is stupid enough to spend that much time making a great game just to please others...

Oh I love tab target combat. I’m a wow baby and all this new action combo combat is just to involved for me personally, I can see why people like it though. For me MMOs are a game I play to relax and enjoy myself and most action combat MMOs just don’t do it for me. Which sucks because most new MMOs have moved to action combat.

Everything was so good until you said ‘classless’. A shame.

I don't know if it's me but I can't get excited about a new MMO anymore until I actually play it.

Ps Albion has no EU server which the player base would like you to believe is a "healthy thing" for the game.. 90+ ping in a full loot game is a joke and should be ignored completely :D

I'm waiting for Ashes of Creation, the communication is really good, no P2W (it seems), and the classes system is making me very curious!

Concerning the « buttery smooth combat » of BDO it’s full of desync, so not that smooth at all in any way ^^ (even though the gameplay is very satisfying for sure, the absurd amount of grind is by no means meant to be played by humans, you have to be a brainless robot to play BDO)
As for Lost Ark’s combat mechanics I can’t say, it feels great but I can’t see myself playing 12h / day with 6 different characters not to be left behind in terms of PvP performances. Way, way too grindy, don’t understand how Korean can grind that much it’s absurd and cringe for a game imo.

The developer just said its confirmed Pay-to-win, so why are we still talking about this game ???

You know on paper I generally don't mind the idea of combat where you're rooted to the ground while executing skills, as visually to me it makes the hits feel more weighty, but in my experience skill expression in games where you're rooted for abilities usually develves into "who is the best at glitching their way out of their animations." which makes takes the cool and weighty animations and makes them look awkward to watch for any ability that doesn't have a cast bar attached.

I honestly don't care for BDO at all. I've always preferred tab-targeting combat.
