top tips: diy london, walk and tube it...be a "dora the explorer"...try walking the monopoly board...park lane...marylebone is an amazing walk...from kings cross to paddington...walking the travelator....bank station...tower bridge lift...surrey quays, canada water is amazing...rotherhithe tunnel walk...sloane square (royal court hotel)...if u have to ask the price...central line is very hot (bring a fan)...notting hill, uphill wow...been there, done that...

As a German, the first thing that strikes me about the streets of London is the comparatively few signs. Everything looks a lot cleaner. Germany's streets and cities are infested with street signs that are supposed to regulate everything down to the smallest detail. But it seems to work with less, as you can clearly see here. Great!

@Hannah Ricketts this is one of your best vlogs. Tower Hill is where I always stay(ed) (and could afford!😊) but Mayfair is where I prefered to go for lunch, a drink and shopping/strolling. Great to see Burlington Arcade again, and like you say, it is beautiful around Christmas and truely lightens up the arcade.

Very nicely done video. I was visiting 3 weeks ago from Boston. First trip to London since Covid and Mayfair is always a favorite. You asked about Scotts Seafood....its fantastic. Bachanallia....not very good at all. Downstairs at Fortnum & Mason in the food hall...get a bagel with cream cheese and salmon. Fantastic. Burlington Arcade is always lots of fun. At the Connaught Hotel have a bespoke martini from the cart service, Not cheap but worth the price of admission. Not in this video but in my opinion the best restaurant in Mayfair is Le Gavroche at 43 Upper Brook Street.

London is so beautiful and classy, I love the historic architecture and the charm of it all. How I wish I could visit but at least I can see the sights with you Hannah!
